    This video is unbelievably based. You hit the nail on the head as to the effect the MCU and Disney have on modern entertainment at large. You've just earned yourself a subscriber. As for the Disney movie I hate the most, it definitely has to be the entire Disney Star Wars trilogy, but if I had to pick one, it's probably Episode 9.

    You're not wrong a good example is to simply look at Marvel animation. Prior to the MCU there was Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Spectacular Spider Man, which were widely considered the best animated representations off the heroes ever released, but the second Disney Bought Marvel they more or less cancelled both shows and replaced them with medicore cartoons with designs and characters inspired more by the MCU with Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man. They cancelled two insanely popular cartoons all fans loved for glorified MCU commercials.
    And shock of all shocks, very few people enjoyed either of the new shows.

    Kinda baffling how it even needs to be said. MCU was always terrible. Their movies were mildly enjoyable flicks at best and absolute abominations at worst. Especially Endgame was a horrible movie compared to Infinity War. Art always loses it's charm when its lectured by business school majors. And Disney is full of business and law school majors. No artists.

    Someone made a video comparing the MCU formula of ironic storytelling with the very sincere storytelling of Jackson’s LOTR. He had a very unique perspective, having watched Jackson’s films after being inundated with Disney’s ironic formula. The video is very revelatory to the death of sincere storytelling that challenges audiences to really reflect on the great themes of humanity rather than clap mindlessly while they are brainwashed with the filmmakers’ ham fisted politics.

    The fact that Deadpool & Wolverine is probably the biggest B.O. hit of the year making over 1 Billion, speaks volumes about the state of Hollywood mainstream blockbuster cinema.
    A movie that had literally no plot and was just a series of random fanservice scenes, cobbled together, cost 200 $ Million, despite having pretty mediocre visuals & needed 6 script writers ( one of them was R.Reynolds himself who managed to get paid for this also).

    One of the worst things to ever happen to the MCU was hiring writers from Rick and Morty as while it helps to have people aware of multiverse concepts like that one Community episode but it made this universe feel too random and disjointed like with Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania which really was a turning point for the MCU and it’s box office returns. The Marvels flopped while Deadpool and Wolverine turned a profit by having the right amount of nostalgia and emotions to help anchor the movie but after that I’m feel the decline will be felt due to a lack of interest in 2025 even if Fantastic Four ends up being good

    I might go on long here but I do agree that the MCU is kind of always been mediocre at best and bad at worst. I am someone who likes Marvel Comics, Marvel Animation, Marvel Games, some of the Marvel live action shows like Daredevil, Agents of Shield, and the Lou Farigno Hulk show. I even enjoy the non MCU films. But when it comes to the MCU films, I only like a few of them. I would only say around 8 or 10 of these film are actually decent to good. They are generally very inaccurate to the comics, which is not something you are supposed to do since these are based on comics. Plus most of the MCU fans do not care about Marvel as a whole, only the MCU. They insult the medium these charcters come from and other adaptations without giving them a chance I do agree with Scorsese that these films are just essentially rollorocster rides with a budget and actors. Name me one director in the MCU other than James Gunn and Joss Whedon. There is a very high chance you can't. A director is the person who wheter doing an adaptation or an original story, brings the story to the screen. They should at least get credit. These films are not art, they are just products put out by a studio. I also do believe that like anything that is adaptated into film it ruins the ability to tell original stories. Blockbusters and superhero films dominate the market, and it does not leave room for dramas, horror or other genres that might be creative and good. I want Hollywood to take more risks. Even if an idea does not always work out, I at least respect trying something new. Great video.

    I dislike all modern Disney Marvel DC slop equally. It really is common denominator Pavlovian conditioning toxic sludge.
    It was only really as a kid i liked some Disney movies, the original Christopher Reeves Superman Movies, and in my later teens the X Men movies i found mildly entertaining but very paint-by-numbers character arcs and plot. The ones i still like and some i respect still are;
    Disney's Robin Hood (great artwork and that intro is iconic...long before digital slop entered the equation)
    Fantasia (some gorgeous artwork, very talented artists worked a shift and then some)
    The Little Mermaid (animated.... I remember seeing it in the cinema as a kid, seen clips since and again i have to appreciate the artwork and the songs are very well conducted and catchy)
    The Incredibles *if we're counting Pixar (didn't take itself too seriously, genuinely entertaining)
    Up (until the final third where it gets generic with the stereotypical bad guy trope)

    I'm a huge Disney fan and couldn't disagree more! I find the franchise to be charming and progressive. Leave it alone!😢
