FYI, you should read the warning label on your desk lamp. As Most Desk Lights have a Max Wattage of 60 Watts. So putting that 100 Watt heat bulb in your desk light could actually be a Fire Hazard.

Be Very careful with the animal heat globe. Ive used them for years for baby birds etc. They get get So HOT you can burn yourself but mainly they Must be used with a ceramic insert. Do Not use them on normal lamps with metal insert. You could start a fire , the lamp could burn. The inserts are on Aliexpress for around $2-5Aud. You just replace the metal insert on your lamp with ceramic insert. you can buy the whole lamp for around $15 that comes with ceramic insert for these hot globes.
