I can't say this enough, but this is one of my favorite bands in the last 3 years. I love the message behind the music and it has lifted me up in some very dark times. This is just one of those bands to me that will always be a part of me
I don't like positive messages. 90% of the music I listen to is metalcore or deathcore of varying styles, although I do listen to more female fronted bands than most. I would still say this is one of the best songs ever written. I can't exactly explain way or place it. Its not overly complicated. Everything just fits. That's the best I can say. They have other really great songs,but I always come back to this one. She always really sells it no matter what. I never get the impression I'm being lied to,or that these are people that are being fake. And I get that impression a lot nowadays with music. I feel like some heart was put into this whole album in general,and it's really up there. I can't believe they,and some of the other bands on this label,haven't got bigger. I can think of at least two where I'm absolutely shocked they aren't,and this is one of them. I guess you just never know.

One of the best vocalists this genre has ever seen. From her writing to the vocals. Top notch. This coming from someone who listens to everything across the board. From parkway drive, btbam, abr, architects. To spitalfield, eyes set to kill, dream state, terminal etc.
Fantastic band, love that distortion mixed with melody. CJ's voice though, she sells the meaning of the songs. I hope these guys make it to the big time, they have great taste.

Been digging this band for almost 2 years.. Saw them live in Prague 2 weeks ago.. So many memories with cj (got into talk with her, got photo, and she hugged me so tightly like no one ever did) then got into talk with all DS guys, and got guitar pick from Rhys.. Can't wait to see them again in Vienna next Jan ✌️.. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don't waste it.

Give HURT a try. Some of their older stuff mid 2000s are pretty good. The alternative turn they made isn't bad either imo.
