Without a doubt, DREAM STATE has left a deep mark on my life. I appreciate that they continue to release new content, I love their lyrics and I identify with them a lot. I have to get this off my chest, you guys have got to stop comparing Jessie to CJ! Jessie had some serious shoes to fill, and you know what? She filled them nicely, Jessie is amazing! I’ve loved every song Dream State has released since Jessie took over. I do understand that you guys miss CJ, heck I miss her too, but I don’t think she’s ever coming back. She had personal issues and it was her choice to leave. I wish her all the best, but Jessie is doing amazing and I can’t wait for more songs

@@isaiahsamuel7783 Because we don't show up to DS shows anymore. DS used to sell out a lot of shows. They don't even try to book Underworld or Solus anymore because they can't fill it like they used to. There is nothing wrong with Jessie but it wasn't just CJ, they lost Rhys and then they lost Jamie - so they're down their original vocalist, 2 guitarists (and the rhythm guitar position has still not been filled) and their original drummer.
Fuck the only reason they got a spot on Slamdunk is because Slamdunk always has one token UK band there (the line-up otherwise remains largely the same) and most UK bands will not go anymore because it's seen as an insult to have a UK festival and feature a near All-American line-up (being in mind Kerrang are English!!!).
They are basically a new band and they don't sound the same to a lot of their original fans. Problem is people don't take it for what it is and we come back expecting Jessie to grow on us but it's been 3 years and it's still not gelling.

I'll be honest. At first, i wasn't able to accept this new version of Dream State, but now I've heard this, my mind has changed, and i think i need to go through the songs that Jessie and co have put out.
Honestly, they’ve released some pretty good tracks. And if you get the chance, check them out live. Jessie oozes energy and has a great stage presence.

New lead vocals is not bad, but they lost their style. May be. It will find a listener, but nothing interesting. Just another band in that style.
There was something in old sounding, some kind of perspective, something that hold attention from beginning of 1 song to end of last, somekind of energy and emotion i think.
Now its quality sound, well played, well mastered but soulless, mechanical. In technical opinion all made as it must be but it's "dry" music, no emotion, no energy.

yeah, i like to call it CJ sindrom, since i listened to her i never find another vocalist good enough, and its not just me, check the comments in the previous songs when she was in the band, this girl made art. Saviour ( another metal band too ) and they vocalist ( left the band too, its like a curse ) is the best i could find, its like 8/10 and CJ was 10/10, anyway, jessie is very good too
The song is great but it still bugs me a bit the way the new singer doesn't fully unleash the screamed vocals, I guess she is trying to go for her own thing, but I don't know. In my humble opinion, the full scream sounds way better than the raspy voice she uses.
