Play dragunity darklords
Test the deck against Artifacts with Heavy Starter. The deck does struggle a bit against them. And how about 3 Dark World Dealings? That can discard the counter trap to pop it's effect.
Edit: Nvm, I see what you did during the duels, but I still recommend Dark World Dealings as a side deck if you can't discard enough.
Have you tried to play this deck with a single copy of nine tailed fox? I like the combos is sometimes allows in the 30card version. Floodgates doesn't matter anymore.

Well, the shiranui itself is fine. The problem lies in grass
This thing will keep going on when they release infernoids, burning and such. They had to limit grass, not the shiranuis itself.
I swear everytime I play with a 30 deck card all my oopponents always draw The Grass Looks Greener rigth away, I feel like opponents are modding.

Last street replay I saw yesterday, An ancient gear deck clapped the ass of Shiranui 30 cards and the shiranui player got his grass straight on his beginning hand.

Beat the 30 card grass shiranui wit someone who had whirlflame n grass setup. My gravekeeper quintet magician on summon wiped everything n had necrovalley on tha field so he could summon from grave or use his kiteroid

@@sinjoh53 definitely, I play the deck becuase I love it. But I can definitely see grass getting limited to 2. This would reduce the consistency and also prevent the deck from playing econ and WLC, 2 cards that are great for the deck. In which case the 30 card option would probably be on par with the standard shiranui deck.
Shiranui cards don't need to be nerfed. Nor does grass really. The only problem card here is whirlwind and the deck is balanced
@@sinjoh53 Not really. Each of those have specific problem cards. For gem knights it was lapis, for spellbooks it was their obvious spells that were already a problem to begin with, and for grass Shira it is definitely whirlflame. Grass by itself doesn't make the deck broken. It's the fact that whirlflame allows you to activate shiranuis effects immediately when it hits the grave, draw and summon another activater and then some. That is the specific problem as otherwise Shiranui take a turn to start activating their extra grave effects. They don't have to hit grass and destroy an entire 30 card playstyle for whirlflame.
@@sinjoh53 also many Laval decks don't even use whirlflame if at all, as dustflame blast is the superior card to run. So they definitely wouldn't suffer from it.
The gameplay shows how subterrors became shit since the masked tribute nerf, they are unplayable and this makes me think I wasted my gems when I opened blazing rose time ago

Black rose is splashable in almost every synchro deck. Your game arent wasted. Even my vendread use it

Running a “dark world dealings” would be good.
Grass really balances itself out. If it's to good everyone plays it and therefor becomes unusable. So if you don't get a 20 card opponent or a grass on your first draw it turns into a decent deck at most

Dkayed use to whale out on this game to get those glossy, especially back when Gozuki was one of the most important cards in Red Eyes decks.
Yo dkayed, let me teach you how to play shiranui right. At 14:43, there was a much better play that you could have done. Spiritmaster into black rose dragon then spectral sword into a lvl6 synchro by banishing solitaire. Then respecial summon the lvl 2 tuner and go for ur lvl 8 synchro. After that, use its effect to banish ur own synchro and u got A FULL FIELD WIPE + 5500 ATTACK monster for an easy OTK. That is my signature combo btw.
Glad I invested in this deck early, I've been playing thirty cards for ages and I knew it was the best way to play shiranui by far! Love the deck!
I've KOGged twice since they came out I got them just a day or two after release and immediately made a grass build. They're amazing 💪

red eyes zombie necro dragon, so I don't think they are Tier 0
Red eyes necro dragon will be destroyed easily with banishing spirit master, and of course, this will be easy if it was milled in the first place. Shiranui is fine, but grass is not.

True. The shiranui itself is OK, but the fact most of its card going to graveyard on first turn is kinda OP. It will make sense to limit Grass rather than shiranui cards itself

Hmm... Still have yet to test it against Artifacts. They are known to be facedown and I have taken a few (except 1) down because they didn't think about the backrow and the skill I was using.

I know the mechanism, you use grass to send shiranui monster, including laval trap, and you take the trap back by banishing 2 fire monster, which is shiranui, and you banishing spiritmaster to destroy a monster from opponents field, or squire to draw a card, or samurai to send the banished card to your hand, oh my god bro..
After my comment yesterday I started playing the game from scratch again built a laval deck using only 3.4k gems and a few tickets got lucky on he synchros a bit but didnt get all the monster cards I needed and still took down nearly every meta deck I played

Not really sure a deck is tier 0 if you HAVE to start with a certain card, that's not how it works... I can think of quite a few decks that go even with shiranui, grass or no grass.

To use their effects you cant play spell or traps....so there isnt really anything new with it. They have basically 1 deck available and you can change only the number of specific cards from 1 to 2 copies each....Nothing big

I don't have the necessary number of traps and and quick play spells for the regular Shiranui deck, so this being superior is a welcome addition. Wow it really is broken, if you resolve grass.
You need 3 gozuki which arguably cost more than the regular version,also the burgeoning trap could cost you a lot since it's in a old mainbox
@@SniffinCoke I already bought those. The first two Gokuzi I lucked into quickly, same goes for galaxy cyclone. But the 3 copies of the Trap Card, and especially the 3rd Gokuzi really hurt because I ran out of gems to use and had to pay. I went through nearly the entire selection box 1 before I got it. I did get a divine wrath out of it which I never had, just in case for a future deck.

The good thing is that gozuki will be relevant in all zombies decks so even if this gets nerfed it's ok.

I use one solitare and 2 nine tail foxes. 1 cosmic cyclone. 2 gozuki 1 sam skull and supporting shiranuis

@@edwiniseman4 it works well with summoning the lvl 8 synchro out the graveyard. Or you can use the 2 lvl 2 tokens to synchro a lvl6 or lvl7 shiranui

To two would be worse for the deck as it'd prevent us using econ and WLC which often also lead to the win. So slightly more grass consistency but less utility overall.

What are the percentages on drawing the grass? Cause I'm playing the 20 cards and I rarely brick, this seem like a brick fest to me
At least one grass would be 3/30 = 10% chance
That's why he's using the skill to get a 3/5 chance to start with it.
Your skill should be Spell specialists. It allows you to get grass 3/5 chance in your opening hand
3(3 copies of grass)/7(all the spells in the deck) is a big probaility my friend..and you can make plays without grass

Lmao, I keep losing because I run out of time , the pop ups of whirl flame takes like 3 seconds everytime , and keep coming up , by the time it’s my turn to look through my cards which takes about 6 seconds and make my move I run out easily
