Beautiful truck redesign, but somewhat disappointed with the smaller cabin. My 21 I was able to sit in the back comfortably with the sunroof. In the 22 my head has to be turned to the side in order to fit with the pano sunroof. If your passengers are over 6 feet tall in the rear the head room is tight. Non adjustable rear seat as well. (Only an issue with the pano roof)
Why the $700 charge for TOYOGUARD Platinum when every Toyota vehicles comes with Toyota Care at no-cost? This must be for the paint sealant and interior protector. Very confusing "feature".
Just another form of add ons and markups. Usually dealerships will offer that as an optional package but putting it on the sticker builds it into every deal so each car is at least $700 over msrp
This is the exact truck Im planning in getting in a few years, but that black trim is killing me. I feel like I would have to color match it but who wants to do that after already paying 60k+. I hope this is one of the changes in the upcoming years. That and get rid of the chrome grill surround, or make it black chrome if insisting on chrome.

99% sure only Limited and up have moonroofs. Crewmax has the panoramic and the double cab has the smaller, 2nd gen version of the moonroof. If youre upgrading virtually anything on the Sr5, just get a Limited. Its the better value imo
The back seat space if definitely smaller. But I must admit that grill color looks best with this magnetic color. Blends in and doesn’t look as huge as it does when it’s black and cheap looking. It appears to me they went for the GMC Sierra look.
I’m confused does this come factory navigation or do u have to pay for navigation service from Toyota. …I know u can use Apple CarPlay or android auto but say for those that don’t have smartphones so u will have to pay for navigation from Toyota ???it does not come standard??

I live in an area where you go through at least one windshield a year so gonna be expensive for a while...LOL As for load leveling air suspension we will see how well it stands up to the test of time. I know a few people with other makes of trucks and it fails over time. At least for them it did. Maybe it's our winters.
When I first seen this one was like hell yeah I want one but when I seen that it had no V8 good old muscle I was like nahh instead bought me a 2021 trd pro.

Repulsive grey is more truthful, why do automobile manufactures want to sell depressive colored vehicles. Toyota generally does a better job of offering happier colors compared to other companies, though overall they could do even better.
Dang, I bought this exact truck cause I thought it was a sharp looking color, LOL. I think the red and blue are hideous. I always find it interesting how opinions can vary so much when looking at the same thing. Keeps the world an interesting place, I suppose.
@@jonstundralife5897 I was pleasantly surprised with it in person; it is much darker than what it looks in videos, particularly vides like this in bright sun. It does amaze me how the designers of trucks are so out of touch with the consumer......let's put as much chrome as possible on a vehicle designed to work!
@@johndeaux9987 I agree. The sun and brightness in this video didnt do it justice. I fell into the color by luck. Im amazed at how it hides dirt and still looks good no matter how dirty it is. I want to see this truck in person.
@@tomjohnson8737 There's no need to be "freaked out" to begin with....especially concerning the media. All new stuff will have teething issues. And Toyota didnt get to be No.1 in reliability by not addressing issues as they arise, especially right from the get go. And you dont have to take the whole truck apart to fix it....just lifting the cab is the easiest way and its actually a fairly simple thing for them to do. Dont let what you see lead you in to thinking they have to rip the whole damn thing apart to fix it.
You forgot to mention the Engine turbo issues these trucks are having now. Just Google tundra turbo problems or tundra Turbo wastegate. These trucks are problematic.
I recommend to not buy this truck until they solve the turbocharger issue. Some of my friends traded in their old tundras for new ones and they all said it was the worst mistake they have ever made cause all of them broke down cause the turbochargers went out.
Better idea would be just to not buy this POS truck. What a major disappointment this new Tundra is. After all the years and all the hype and this ugly, insanely expensive thing with barely improved gas mileage is what we get. No thank you.!

A dealer in my area has black friday deals every year and i get 3 oil changes and tire rotations for $165=$55 per maintenance

Problem solved. I ordered a black platnium. Black color matched wheel wells standard, dark chrome and color matched door handles.

Agreed, I’m 6 foot 3. With the pano sunroof I can sit in the back unless I turn my head to the side. Kind of disappointed.

The Bed cargo capacity is 12 cubic feet smaller than the 2021 for the 6.5’ bed!!

It isn't a problem anymore. It was already addressed only affected I think 0.5% of the in trucks, the first ones to come out.

Tundra in Japanese means BOY IS A BOTTOM, and TRD means A POWERFUL BOTTOM
