Hi John, Thanks so much for your video 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 . Finally, after 4 years of searching and trying to follow instructions from Fujitsu to setup the weekly timer. Their instructions are truly hopeless because their dev team might have not ever tried to follow their own instructions and without video clips to help their customers. We have other AC from Mitsubishi and Daikin too, but their remote controls and instructions are so easy to follow. You emphasised on the most important key point when to do the "Send" command (starts @ 2:00min mark). Thanks again and God bless you for sharing your golden tips. Just amazing! 👍 😀 Btw, Fujitsu should hire you to be their primary TH-camr to take care of creating these valuable "How-To" video clips!! 👍
Mate - you are a champ! Just got my new 2023 Fujitsu air conditioner programmed - after many fruitless attempts at deciphering the manual. So it’s still hopeless And now I’m sure that I went through a similar process at work probably 15 years ago when I tried to set up the office there with what must have been a similar unit there. I remember it took me many many days of trial and error to finally stumble on a way to get the settings right (when one day I arrived to find the unit had come in via auto) So it seems their useless manual has been unchanged for a bloody long time. Cheers
Thank you so much! This programming is ridiculously confusing and complicated and the written instructions don't help. Your explanation makes much more sense.
Oh my gosh - those instructions on the manual are so confusing - and your video just comes in and explains it all so clearly! You need to get Fujitsu to use this video on their website. Thank you!!
You’re a champ. FYI, I messaged Fujitsu 31st August LAST YEAR pointing out their total lack of clear instruction and linked to this video. They sent some instruction with an error in it 😂. I asked them today if they’d acted on this lack of clear instruction. They responded that it has been “escalated” and will be included in future... ( and I stopped reading at that point! FFS!) 😂 Corporate fail. I bought a Mitsubishi for my second unit. Thanks for your clear instruction!
Thank you so much for the video, I appreciate the time you took to make it. I set up for timers.. on at 19 degrees celcius at 11am - off at 12pm and then on again at 5pm - off at 6pm. I'm going away and the cats need their air con!
How did you manage to get programmes 3 and 4 going for the later time? I've got the 1 and 2 sorted but can't figure out how to programme 3 and 4. I get to the '3' option, but I cannnot get the time (ON) flashing.
Guess what, 3 years later after your video, Fujitsu still believes the controller nor their manual instruction is at the best presented possible. Somebody with higher education like myself still got it wrong. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your excellent demonstration. At long last after two years we were able set the timer for last night and today. A big thank you for taking the time to share this.
John we love you. Just bought a house. Couldn't for the life of us work out how to set the timer. Kept getting closer and closer but it was never right because we kept SENDing the info. Which you think is the right thing to do seeing as it flashes SEND prompting you to press it! Bless you.
Thank you so much for your informative video. I couldn't have programmed the unit without your help. I did figure out something important. You CAN program a single program (1, 2, 3, or 4) to have different times for each day of the week. For example, you want set up the unit to turn on Monday through Friday at 6:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 AM, When setting program 1 or reviewing program 1, after you hit Next and all the days of the week are flashing (as per the video), you hit the SELECT (up) button and it shows you MON along with the ON/OFF setting and the time and temperature. If you hit SELECT (up) it will move to TUE and so on. However, if you hit the NEXT button the ON/OFF setting will flash and allow you to change it , just for Monday. Hitting NEXT will now have the time flashing and allow you to change it. Hit NEXT one more time and the Temperature for Monday will flash. One more NEXT will get back to the day flashing and you use the SELECT (up) button to move on through every day of the week. For example, you want set up the unit to turn on Monday through Friday at 6:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 AM,
thanks John, after many frustrating hours trying to match what I was seeing to what the manual was telling me, then watching the company video which didn't match either! I happened onto your site, thank you, thank you ,thank you.
YES - thank you John - that was so much easier, than the manual, that I've struggled with, since installation, on 12 FEB 2020. You've saved the day - HOO-RAY - LOL.
Perfect video !!! Question I was doing those steps and I was accidentally in the living room the reliving room one got programmed ! But I press the weekly which like u said cancels the program ! I use one remote for all three ac in my house . So I went to the room turned that ac in and pressed weekly to pregame it
Thanks, that was great I had to go through a couple of times since I wanted to change temps overnight. I have set up quite a few different thermostats and programs this was by far the worst, thank you for working through it. Much appreciated.
Hi John, thanks for such clear instructions! Can you please also teach us how to cancel the timer? I have it set up but winter is coming and I want it off please.
Thanks for the video. I have this model and an older model and this one is so much more difficult to work out the operation. I'm also stumped with the sleep options on this one. 🥺
Oh my god I just tried to program my a/c using the manual and it's ridiculous! Thanks for this explanation. The timer seems to be able to let you set an on and off time within pgm 1 if you want but I'm going to follow your method and use pgm 1 for on and pgm 2 for off.
This is amazing. I cannot begin to figure out how you figured it out, John! Question for anyone out there: I noticed with the non-automated timer that there is an orange light on the unit Does this version give you any indication on the unit that it is using the weekly (which really means daily) timer? Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank You ! After reading the (utterly useless) manual multiple times - finally found your easy to follow video - you should do videos for Fujitsu - as they obviously have no effin clue themselves . . . !
Good video tute. Must admit the program logic engineers at Fujitsu must have designed this controller logic after a heavy weekend of Sake and Beer. What were they thinking?
Hi John, first of all thanks very, very much since the delivery operation manual drove me crazy. One more thing though. I followed all your steps, send the information to the indoor unit (heard a beep to confirm it receiving the input) however, the timer indicator on the unit does not lit up. Is it because I set the timer in the afternoon while it should start in the morning or.....? Your reply would be very much appreciated. A big cheers from The Netherlands!
One you program the remote to turn on should you be pointing it at the ac ? I’m using one remote for all three ac at home but I’m interested in only programming one ac the one in living room to turn on early Morning
Very good but how do I add two more programmes - 3 and 4 - for another ON/OFF option? Once I have set 1 and 2 as you show us, I try to toggle to '3' but I can't get the time flashing.
Not all heroes wear capes! Thank you!

Just found this trying to program my aircon, the most clear and concise instructions I have ever found on You Tube.Thank you.
One of the best step by step guide i have ever seen. Thanks for your help.
Mate - you are a champ!

Thank you for figuring this out. Fujitsu made the most confusing on off timer possible. My old panasonic was so much simpler to figure out
Legend! What a fantastic demonstration. You made that so simple! Thank you 🙏
Thanks mate. My Mitsubishi air con was so simple. Appreciate how simple you made this to set up.
Thank you so much ! I had been struggling for weeks to set the timer ! I could not have done this without you !!
Mate! What a legend. The user manual for this heat pump is the most confusing manual I've ever seen! True hero!
Thank you so much! This programming is ridiculously confusing and complicated and the written instructions don't help. Your explanation makes much more sense.
Cheers, John! Have been struggling for months on how to do this and with your vid I did it in 5 minutes. Thanks!
thank god for people like you John. I just got this working in my TEST environment....now to try PROD for tomorrow morning!
You legend, I was struggling with the timer by hitting send every time I put a command in. Now we're living in the age of technology properly!
I am a fully qualified engineer and this remote has bested me for months! Thanks
Oh my gosh - those instructions on the manual are so confusing - and your video just comes in and explains it all so clearly! You need to get Fujitsu to use this video on their website. Thank you!!
Glad I am not the only one that couldn't figure out the timer settings. Thanks for the video, I cant believe how difficult Fujitsu made this.
Oh thank you mate...this was driving me nuts! Back to work this week after holidays so no more sleeping until it warms up ;)
You’re a champ.
FYI, I messaged Fujitsu 31st August LAST YEAR pointing out their total lack of clear instruction and linked to this video. They sent some instruction with an error in it 😂. Thanks for your clear instruction!
Many thanks, John. You’ve put an end to my frustration with the manual.

This is brilliant - I don't know what I would do without this instruction. Thank you John
Dude - 3rd time I've had to use this video. Thank you so much.
I can't believe it's so bloody complicated....
Ditto. Sending it to members of my household less anyone fuck with it. Total pain in the arse.
bloody excellant mate - I have wondered for years how to do it!
Thank you. I wasted a half hour on the manual. Got 2 units programmed in 5 minutes with your video.
Thank you so much! Really needed this for our freezing house to keep our baby warm at night!
Guess what, 3 years later after your video, Fujitsu still believes the controller nor their manual instruction is at the best presented possible. Somebody with higher education like myself still got it wrong. Thank you so much!
LEGEND. Just moved house. Straight back here to set up the heatpump.
Thanks, this is just what I needed. It’s not obvious, and like you say, the manual is as clear as mud.
Thank you so much. The instruction Manuel is so confusing. You’re a gem!!
Cheers mate! Been playing with this thing for ages with no luck. Followed your instructions and worked like a charm. Legend!
Thank you so much for your excellent demonstration. At long last after two years we were able set the timer for last night and today.
A big thank you for taking the time to share this.
I have tried so many times to do this, Thank you (I programmed control systems for 20 years), and this made it possible
John we love you.
Just bought a house. Couldn't for the life of us work out how to set the timer. Kept getting closer and closer but it was never right because we kept SENDing the info. Which you think is the right thing to do seeing as it flashes SEND prompting you to press it! Bless you.
Had to come back to this video multiple times. You're a legend mate!
So glad I came here first before trying to find my manual! Thanks for this mate 🤘

thanks John, after many frustrating hours trying to match what I was seeing to what the manual was telling me, then watching the company video which didn't match either! I happened onto your site, thank you, thank you ,thank you.
this worked perfectly. I had only been able to set up each day separately until this video. Excellent
You may be the smartest man to ever live. Thank you😊
That was awesome thank you. The manual is crazy hard to interpret. Much appreciated.
I’ve referred to this video many times. Thank you so much!
So nice and toasty without trying thanks to you! Well done navigating the instructions to make this video.
Thank you! This has been driving me crazy, trying to set an on timer.
Thank you! I was really struggling to get the timer working but then I came across your video!
Thank you! I've a pretty tech savvy guy, and this damn thing is the most confusing thing I've ever tried to use.
Had a failed attempt on my own, let's see if it all works out tomorrow for me now ive followed your instructions. Thanks 😊
YES - thank you John - that was so much easier, than the manual, that I've struggled with, since installation, on 12 FEB 2020. You've saved the day - HOO-RAY - LOL.
Hi Anthony, I struggled too, the manual is definitely incorrect.
The most useful video available in this remote. Thank you.
Thanks for this. I couldn't make any sense of the manual either, and I keep coming back to your vid whenever I need to change the settings!
Thank you so much John. I couldn't make heads or tail either and now I have set the timer thanks to your video.
Finally after 8 months I can now programme the stupid thing! Thank you 👍
2 bloody years! Dunno why I didn't think of TH-cam before....
Perfect video !!!

haha thank you for this! there was no way i'd figure this out without your video!!!
Thanks John. Indeed … incredibly complicated !
Glad to see it wasn't just me that couldn't work it out from the confusing manual.
Hi John, thanks for such clear instructions! Can you please also teach us how to cancel the timer? I have it set up but winter is coming and I want it off please.
Awesome thanks so much! Hopefully our heatpump will go on at 6am tomorrow!!!
Wanted so much time for the manual. Thank you so much.
You just saved me a massive headache. Good one.
Your not wrong about the manual. Thank you for the tutorial.
Thanks for the video. I have this model and an older model and this one is so much more difficult to work out the operation. I'm also stumped with the sleep options on this one. 🥺
Thankyou so much i have been trying to work this out for a few weeks since the weathers changed 😊
Thank you for the step by step guide. Wasn't able to work it out.
Oh my god I just tried to program my a/c using the manual and it's ridiculous! Thanks for this explanation. The timer seems to be able to let you set an on and off time within pgm 1 if you want but I'm going to follow your method and use pgm 1 for on and pgm 2 for off.
John, just like everyone else, thankyou so much. Great video!
Thanks John, manual is incredibly hard to understand. Cheers for unpacking it
Thanks so much for sharing! Have been stumped on how to do this for so long, cheers!
Thank you so much. I have followed the manual instructions so many times only to wake up to a cold house. The flashing send button is terrible.
Thank you so much John, you are so right about the manual. 🤓
Thanks so much! Massive headache until I found you. Cheers mate
No more cold mornings for me, thanks for the video
Man..... You did a fantastic job!
Helped me out tremendously!
Thanks John, awesome video, saved me a lot of time, super clear and logical!
Thank You ! After reading the (utterly useless) manual multiple times - finally found your easy to follow video - you should do videos for Fujitsu - as they obviously have no effin clue themselves . . . !
Excellent instructions! Could not follow the user manual if I my life depended on it. So easy..
Legend. Im normally pretty good at manuals, but this one made noooo sense!! Thankyou. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks so much for this video, I've spent so long trying to figure out how it worked !
Good video tute. Must admit the program logic engineers at Fujitsu must have designed this controller logic after a heavy weekend of Sake and Beer. What were they thinking?
Dead set legend. Thank you.
Thankyou John,finally I have set my aircon.🙂
Thank you so much for this video you saved me a lot of frustration!!
Great job, John! Like everyone else says, you have saved the day! :)
Legend! Extra easy to understand without an accent 😜
Thanks soo much for this brother. This is so easy to follow.
Lucid explanation. Thank you very much.
Cheers big man! I owe you a beer!
Hi John, thank you very much. If I had hair it would be torn out by now. That manual is "lost in translation".
Legend, Fujitsu take note!
Many thanks John , even in french the manual is unreadable , we can now program our clim one more time thank you
Whoever wrote the manual wasn't from this planet.
Thank you so much. Fingers crossed that I have done it right
Thankyou. I was struggling so much clearer
One you program the remote to turn on should you be pointing it at the ac ?
I’m using one remote for all three ac at home but I’m interested in only programming one ac the one in living room to turn on early
Morning
I watch this video every time I have to change a setting on my unit 😂 I'll never learn this by heart 😁
Very good but how do I add two more programmes - 3 and 4 - for another ON/OFF option? Once I have set 1 and 2 as you show us, I try to toggle to '3' but I can't get the time flashing.
Thank you useful video. Now I want to cancel the weekly timer - how?
