I don't doubt the quality of Rathskellers. But I also couldn't afford the price. A good compromise (without led and sound system, the latter surely being a big part of the price) was the Zeus model from Mesas para Juego. Super customer service, very helpful and not pushing through the ordering process. And I'm very satisfied with the quality. Accesories like dice trays, cupholders, etc, plug in to the sides of the table.

My issue with tables a lot of the time is the height. It just feels awkward to sit at and I feel I struggle to see the whole of the table because it’s so high up. I’m 5’8. Any thoughts? So I’m 5’10 and I feel like the table’s at the perfect height for me, but my fiancé is 5’1 and she does have to reach a lot if it’s a bigger game (scythe, endless winter, etc). -For me, my knees have lots of space and don’t hit the table (I have 5.5 inches of empty space from knee to table -Random measurement, but my elbows rest 10 inches above my knees, this is where I bend them to rest on the table -Sinking down at my chair about 4 inches, I can still read lots of components at a lower the angle (reminder that this is for an 8p table so if you decide to go with the same size or smaller, keep that in mind!) -Standing up, the table is a little below my waist! I hope that helps somewhat! 🙌🏽

Maybe one question about the velveteen colors after using them for over a year: You said you would have also liked a lighter color. So if you could decide again, would you prefer to exchange one of your colors with a light grey? Do you get bored of the greenish or the black color more? I can also imagine that the different LED colors work better with neutral velveteen colors. Thanks for your opinion :)

Oh good question! At 2 players, we sit on the same side. At 3-6, we sit on opposite ends (most typical seating arrangement). On the rare occasion we have 8, two people will be on the smaller end of the table!
