I just bought a 2023 Road Glide, Atlas Silver Metallic. She doesn't look dirty because of the color but I know she needs a good wipe down. Mobile detailers for motorcycles here in California, or at least Los Angeles start at $120 for a basic wash. You just saved me about $100. Great video. Thank you.
I use waterless wash for my bike too. I was taught to fold my microfibers into 4 panels. Gives you 8 clean panels to work with as you clean your bike/car.
Another tip when using new microfiber towels. Shake the new rag until all the loose fibers fall off. Takes a few seconds, if not those loose fibers will stick to the paint and spread around.
Great timing. I just bought this stuff a week ago. I LOVE IT. I have several products from Chemical Guys. They are all top notch. I highly recommend their products.
I use it also. One method that I use is spray one panel down at a time well. Then use my folded microfiber wiping in one direction only. Then buff out with a clean microfiber. Keep up the great videos
I do the old-school detailer's trick, using Lemon Pledge furniture polish on the paint, and Windex on the chrome. Works like a charm. First I spray it down with Meguiars quick detailer though.
Very interesting. You would think that would be counter-intuitive with the ammonia, and simple green alone tends to streak. Did you polish/wax your bike regularly as well with this home-grown formula?
Ha! Tall you called it a Street Glide, It's a Road Glide! Are you still in denial that you own a Road Glide? Lol Just busting chops. Love your Channel Tall
I just picked up the same cleaner, very impressed with it. I follow it up with flowgenix for a good shine. Good to know I'm not the only one up before 0400. Digging the content with both scoots.
That stuff is the best I've tried many other products and this one works best I always use a new dry towel after to wipe down and the shine is so much better
Yeah, I'm with you, Tall .... I always do a quick wipe down before I go out to ride. Those who say "the time you spend cleaning, is time you should be riding" are full of crap !!! Taking that 15 min., to a 1/2 hr. either the night before or early before you go is not that big of a deal & I really believe you ride better on a somewhat clean bike. It's that pride of ownership thing..... Of course, my wipe down of my 2019 Indian Roadmaster Elite takes just a bit more time & and effort because of those full valance fenders. Yes, they are a pain in the butt, but when you love that kind of style, you don't mind the extra effort. By the way, for a quick wipe down that might involve bug splatter, I've found that the old Honda spray formula, which is now sold under the name of Original bike spirits spray cleaner & polish (along as well still under the Honda brand name) works as well on clear coated paint as well as glass & chrome, as well as anything else I've tried. And believe me, having done the video/youtube thing back in the day, I still have a lot of sample stuff that doesn't work half as well as what I've used for 3 decades +. I'll keep watching .....
Thanks Tall, The Road Glide looks clean. I use the Chemical Glide products also, the purple Chemical Guys Detailer works well also. I will start removing the micro fiber towels tags from now on. Ride Safe!
My first water wash on my 16 RGS resulted in the Tach & Speedometer failing due to water intrusion! So now I ONLY spray wash my bike! I typically use Lucas Oil "Slick Mist" speed wax. I'll try the Chemical Guys next.
Hey Tall, a while back I googled what to wipe down the windshield on my Softail. One thing that popped up were some wipes that I happened to already have for hiking. They’re biodegradable wet wipes by Surviveware. They work great all over the bike, even on bugs. They probably don’t leave as much of a shine as your waterless car wash stuff….but that’s what I keep in my saddle bag. Love your content man! Keep ‘em coming. I’m right here in Knoxville also….so I hope to be able to attend your Ride To The Hills in June. Ride safe! 🏍️
ive come to realize no matter what you do you end up getting swirls and webbing.. i just pretty much every year before season starts for riding bike i will clay bar and do a polish on bike
To do a bike you’re gonna need about 10 of those. Don’t grind the dirt that’s in the microfiber in the paint. Fold, wipe and turn. Never wiping the same spot twice with the same side. That is of course you don’t want swirling in your paint.
Thanks for the inspiration.. I'm going to step out and give my Victory a clean down. I never thought about using water-less wash on the engine\exhaust?? I use WD40 on a cloth to wipe those parts down.
Looks great! Chemical Guys stuff is good stuff. I use a waterless product called Aero Cosmetics. But normally on my HD, I just use a detailer between washes. You gotta be glidin’ clean!
They are busting your chops about calling that bike a “STREET GLIDE”!!! The heart doesn’t lie…. I like the idea of the waterless products but I’m just not ready to try it my bike. Looks good!
Tall, I respect you so much. But I'd never let you clean my bike with a waterless product. Not that I am against the process. I have cleaned my bikes like this for 16 years. Hardly ever use a hose. However, if you are able to do the whole bike with only two rags, that has to be a miraculous product. Based upon my experience, you will make scratches. And you can't help but see them on a black bike. For bugs, cannot beat Bug Slide. Costly, but worth it. BTW, currently using Chemical Guys Speed Wipe for this cleaning. Trick is to use it after every time you ride. Unless you just want to spend time riding instead of cleaning. I get that.
Tall you gotta get a motorcycle jack to clean the motorcycle. I wish it was that easy for me i nothing but chrome on my motorcycle my next two wheels will definitely be all black.
Tall I bought the sharkroad 4.5 slip ons off Amazon. How much better do the khrome works slip ons sound in comparison?? I have a 2022 raod glide standard.
Talls buds are dissing him by not texting him back😂 my street glide has the denim paint. Although it looks good my next bike will have the regular paint. Regular paint is easier to clean. Once the bugs ect get embedded into the denim it's kinda difficult to get it clean
Can't get that Street Glide out of your mind ... Stroad Glide looks good 😃
I caught that too😅
That's ok. He's gonna eventually call his Street Glide his Road Glide! 😆
I saw this video and immediately ordered on Amazon. It’s a great product. My bike looks like I did a full wash. Thanks for posting this!

I am glad let’s roll sponsored you. I ordered my let’s roll cruiser for my Street Glide after watching your videos.
Well you have one thing right It should be A Street Glide but it looks like a road glide. We all know where your heart is LOL I enjoy your content.
I use waterless wash for my bike too. I was taught to fold my microfibers into 4 panels. Gives you 8 clean panels to work with as you clean your bike/car.
I do the Same My Brother.
My bro just can't get himself to say Road Glide! Come on mane! Road Glide Nation!
I tried the product this morning and I love it! I used to use Bug Slide but I like this better. Thanks for the tip buddy. Keep Glidin!
I’ve used lemon pledge for years, works great. Especially for bugs. Chrome and paint. The only thing I don’t use it on is my nav screen.
Seeing You Wiping The Bike Down. Music In The Background. Is Soothing & Relaxing 👍🏾
Another tip when using new microfiber towels. Shake the new rag until all the loose fibers fall off. Takes a few seconds, if not those loose fibers will stick to the paint and spread around.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh!
I use the bug slide stuff works great! ✌️
I use it also. One method that I use is spray one panel down at a time well. Then use my folded microfiber wiping in one direction only. Then buff out with a clean microfiber. Keep up the great videos
Can't wait to see what motor work is going into this bike
def a road glide. my man loves his street glide !!!!
Morning is the best time of day. Good one you
I have never tried chemical guy but i'm happy with using mothers waterless wash & wax. Mom is always right!!!
I do the old-school detailer's trick, using Lemon Pledge furniture polish on the paint, and Windex on the chrome. Works like a charm. First I spray it down with Meguiars quick detailer though.
Thanks Tall for the information. Ride Safe Brother!
I own a body shop and the first thing I do when polishing is remove that tag. Good advise!
Sweet ride! I used to make my own cleaner. I used 3 parts Windex and 1 part Simple Green. It works well for me.
Very interesting. You would think that would be counter-intuitive with the ammonia, and simple green alone tends to streak. Did you polish/wax your bike regularly as well with this home-grown formula?

I do the same. Flowgenix is good stuff.

How soon are you going to post a link for the Banquet tickets?
Liked & Subscribed, thank you for making this video, thank you for sharing the knowledge, ride safe always, Aloha Kenneth
Yeah, I'm with you, Tall ....

That is a good looking bike. We have a 2012 appreciate your videos. You’re a good man. Have a great day. God bless.😎🙏 bike
Thanks Tall,
The Road Glide looks clean. I use the Chemical Glide products also, the purple Chemical Guys Detailer works well also. I will start removing the micro fiber towels tags from now on. Ride Safe!
Yes I Know why you said Street Glide!!!! You know there the best and it's always on your mind!!
Big Jim come on playa, Road Glide or don't ride.
Bugslide works amazing also
I'm definitely getting that cleaner .
My first water wash on my 16 RGS resulted in the Tach & Speedometer failing due to water intrusion! So now I ONLY spray wash my bike! I typically use Lucas Oil "Slick Mist" speed wax. I'll try the Chemical Guys next.
I use the HD Cleaner foam. Also, I use HD polish.
My wheels just came 2 days ago from coastal moto. Same style gloss black 3D Marlin

Man RTTH3 is going to be crazy fun ❤
I always use the hose and wash. Up here in Pennsylvania, I have more bugs on the front of my road glide than pain lol.
Thanks for the cleaning tip
How bad does this method give you swirls or spiderwebbing in the paint
ive come to realize no matter what you do you end up getting swirls and webbing.. i just pretty much every year before season starts for riding bike i will clay bar and do a polish on bike

Chemical guys are good foreal...I like to wash it 1st before spraying down.
Same stuff I use. Works great

The bike looks real good Tall. Do you have merch Tall? I like your Traveling Tall hat you wear. 👊🏾🙏🏾
you called it a Street Glide, i love that comment
Thank you for this video! What seat do you have there? Is it aftermarket?
Now Tall you know you hurt us Road Glide folks by calling your 2023 Road Glide a STREET GLIDE!!!! Come on Tall 😂😂
Funny you say to keep in in your bag because I do. Lol
Hahaha 7:30am late . I’m halfway to breakfast by then .
I use Meguiars quick polish spray.
Looks great! Chemical Guys stuff is good stuff. I use a waterless product called Aero Cosmetics. But normally on my HD, I just use a detailer between washes. You gotta be glidin’ clean!
If you don't mind me asking...how do you like that waterless Aero Cosmetics stuff? I recently bought some but haven't gotten around to using it yet.
Tall, that’s a Road Glide. ✌🏿
I use black magic waterless car wash about 5 or 6 bucks at wallyworld and love it
I usually give my bike a complete wash with rinse but Iay try this method.
Gorgeous motorcycle. Harley is going to pay if they discontinue the traditional engine. I can feel that day you're having.
Actually Tall, the Road Glide is so menacing looking it scares the bugs out of the way. I can't say that for "The Other Bike". LOL
Hey Tall,
You oughta try what I've used for years. West Coast Custom Exterior Detailer. Trust me it sure shines up the bike.
Okay good morning, Now that you have a road glide, which one do you truly like the best?
Lemon pledge also works very good on Chrome try it one day. Trust me.
Of you fold the ragg onto a square you'll get better results and also you won't put deep hand rub to make scratches also. Just a tip for next time.
Traveling Tall, what the name of the music in your background? Very soothing!
Tall I use a different brand waterless wash works good, just two let you know that other Bike is lookin real good.💯✌🏽
ROAD GLIDE
They are busting your chops about calling that bike a “STREET GLIDE”!!! The heart doesn’t lie…. I like the idea of the waterless products but I’m just not ready to try it my bike. Looks good!
You said “street glide”. Old habits die hard😂
Tall,
I need that sweatshirt! Where can I cop?
This is just coming from my experience detailing. You need a better waterless and just in general forget about chemical guys and better towels.
Nice
Was up Tall? Do you have a turner on your road glide with the screaming eagle air cleaner?
2023 Street Glide? You swapped out the upper fairing with that of a Road Glide?
Did he say Street Glide? 😁 I use Harley Sunwash on my Bike. I will try the Chemical Guys Products though. I hear it's good stuff. Thank you Tall!
I'd go brother.
I do maintenance and ride never washed mine
F11 is the stuff.
Tall, I respect you so much. But I'd never let you clean my bike with a waterless product. Not that I am against the process. I have cleaned my bikes like this for 16 years. Hardly ever use a hose. Tall! How do we get one of those sick sweatshirts ?!?!?!
Which seat do you have on this Road Glide?
Tall you gotta get a motorcycle jack to clean the motorcycle. I wish it was that easy for me i nothing but chrome on my motorcycle my next two wheels will definitely be all black.
Still waiting for information to purchase the “Ride to the Hills” Dinner ticket! 🏍💨🏍💨
Tall I bought the sharkroad 4.5 slip ons off Amazon. How much better do the khrome works slip ons sound in comparison?? I have a 2022 raod glide standard.
Which Khrome werks model pipes did you go with?
You and me have about the same name😅
Talls buds are dissing him by not texting him back😂 my street glide has the denim paint. Although it looks good my next bike will have the regular paint. Regular paint is easier to clean. Once the bugs ect get embedded into the denim it's kinda difficult to get it clean
Is you bike ceramic coated?
Hey Tall you introduced your bike as a 2023 Street Gluide I think you mean Road Gluide lol
Hey Tall what size bars on your road glide?
What breed is your dog , Tall
Street glide?
If it waterless road grime dont scratch the paint when just washing with the rag
RoadGlide!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😅
Lol!! You can’t help yourself 0:34 Street Glide. Lol!!!!
I didn’t know what to get so I just went back to the dealership and bought what they use to clean the bikes they are selling without washing them.
Correction Road Glide brother! 😂
Honda spray polish
You said that bike was a street glide but it looks like a road glide from the side.
Tall I use flowgenix.
I’m extremely confused, you said 2023 Street Glide that looks like a Road Glide to me 😂
