I bought one at blade show and it’s the best strider I’ve ever owned. You are not wrong about the quality. It’s been over 10 yrs since I bought one. Couldn’t pass it up.
Lmao, brand new strider I just got, blade was so off center it touched the TI side. So much loctite I couldn’t even break it to tighten the pivot. For 570$ I expect more. Had tons of blade play, the aluminum scales were cut too big, you could see huge gaps on the pivot area. Won’t buy one again, I sold it.
super random question. I thought I owned two different versions of Gunner Gripped SnG's. Are their two different ones? I have one that's exactly like this (but black) and another raw aluminum that's much pointier/diamond like. Can't find anything on google :/
I haven’t heard anyone call strider low quality. I have heard people call it the worse of the trio and overpriced, but never low quality. I have never handled one so I don’t have an opinion on strider right now.
Ever since I got my Striders I've chilled on knife buying. Pretty much got everything a dude could want and more... Minus a Chris Reeve. Still kinda want to know what's up 🤣
They drop on Fridays at a specific time. I forget the time because I havnt been into striders in a bit. Its not every Friday but most. They usually announce it on IG when there is a drop
I thought you were joking at forst. Rewatched. Must be me tapping the pocket clip against the frame because this is ROCK solid (pocket clip was a little bent out on it though, I have since fixed that)
No one. No one has ever said that. But then again I’ve heard wilder sh!t come out of peoples mouths before. Strider is a top 5 bucket knife for myself. Happy hunting.
@@edged_mindset yaaa I’m not putting any faith in the younger generation of “people” these days. Striders are up there with the legendary blades. It’s like a younger knife guy saying “why spend this much on this knife?” My answer “ no one asked you”

I like that scale on that 1 , cool milling pattern , goes good with the tiger stripe blade
I managed to get one of those when they dropped. It is my first Strider, and I love it. I will need more Striders!

Might as well use the deep carry clip and save the stock clip because they do show wear over time

Yes, the g10 and aluminum GG is slightly different. I assume its because two different companies do the milling work

I was the same way, unfortunately my Chris Reeve knives were kinda bland. So out of the Big 3, only have Striders and Hinderers left

What’s the best way to catch the drops when they happen. Do they just drop on striders website at random times the day they state on Instagram?
