At 21, Van Dijk was still playing with Groningen. He didn't get a move to Liverpool until he was 26. Is Sam Maguire's comment that he's a "Very poor man's Van Dijk" at a comparable age, or is he actually making the comparison to the fully experienced Virgil in his prime? If its the latter, then at best its harsh, at worst, its just dumb. Other than this point from your colleague, I enjoyed the points made.

Yes, high potential, only 21, already progressed a lot in the last 18 months, coming to spurs will be the chance to get to the next level. In 18 months his valuation went from €5M to €30M, hold your judgements

Interesting points made. I think that Spurs fans (me included) should see this for what it is.
There has been an obvious need to improve squad depth. Ange has been in for enough time to get a good view on who he wants to stay and who needs to go. He seems to have a good vision of what he wants.
Radu is young, he will need to adapt to the Prem and develop into what Ange needs him to be. But realistically there are some key defining features.
He is realitivly cheap
The deal has been done early in the window
We have removed Spence from the squad for 6 Months, which at present seems like a good thing.
And Radu had the chance to sign for Bayern,a CL team. He chose Spurs -thst alone is a sign that the winds are shifting for Spurs, lets see where it takes us

A suggestion - based on the comments and my own observations, you should remove the quote “poor man’s Van Djik” because it’s obviously rattling a lot of people when your point is misconstrued.

Ange must told him to be calms , keeps his rashness to be controlled , asked him to play good and stayed more smarts in making tackles and avoids the stupid fouls . If not Dragusin will not play good and totally can't deceplines himself..

Didn't miss it , listened twice and you clearly state that you're basing your comments on the fact you really only watched him at juve . Also interesting is the fact that having listened and read quite a few analysis of the player , yours seems inaccurate? Perhaps that's due to you admitting you only really saw him play a handful of times as a kid for juve ? 😅😅🙈🙄

It still doesn't make any sense when comparing a player who is only starting to make it into the scene
Oh man, it's going to be raining red cards if he plays alongside Romero, he's way too agressive and a lot of those situations where he pushes or muscle players to the ground will see him get yellow cards. You can't tackle in the Premier League anymore, it's after getting ridiculous now with the way the game is going. He doesn't look like an Ange style player for me, this looks more like a Conte signing done by Paratici. He is great in the air at set pieces but it's scary the way he pushes opposition players in his own box. I personally would have much perfered that 20 year old Italian center back Gerogio Scalvini who's quick, and an excellent passer of the ball out from the back. He also scores goals from set pieces too and he's younger and taller.
His valuation is double though, and initially Radu won’t be a starter
