Back then I was the go-to person to discover emerging boybands. I had people into BSB, NSYNC, 5IVE and the rest before they even hit the radio. Lol. Also check out one hit wonder Jimmy Ray's "Are You Jimmy Ray." Knew about him before he opened for BSB on their first US tour back in 1998. The song is pretty catchy and will get stuck in your head.

Ah, this came out when I was in high school. Definitely agree that the video is very 1998 in almost every conceivable way. I used to think the rapper/DJ in the overalls (also a very '90s fashion choice btw) was quite cute.
The one you reacted was the US version. They not only remixed the song, but also filmed this music video specifically for the American market. The original version not only had a bigger budget music video, but the song sounds far superior in my opinion.
