90’s were amazing. I was born in 1982 so I got the 80’s and 90’s it was such a great time to grow up before phones and all the other stuff kinda wrecked things. We had so much more fun back in those days.
This song is brilliant!! I lived this moment in time, I was 14 when this came out and it was at every party. This song sounds funky because it written over the "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" sample.
Yaaaaas! One of my favorite boy bands! They were about to blow up in the US too but some things happened. Still went platinum in the US though. And they were huge over seas. And btw if you wanna know how I found your video one of the band members just shared this on his Twitter! They were the ish.
1999 was my year. I was 12 and I used to get up early every Saturday morning to watch the top 50 video countdown. I’m talking five, all saints, steps, spice girls, Britney, n’sync...those were the days for cheesy pop. Was great though.
They were kinda the type of boyband who was breaking the more typical boyband mould at the time if I recall correctly. Their shows were always a blast, but man they would cause trouble everywhere they went, was kinda funny to read and hear the stories in all honesty haha The leads J and Abs (both guys who were doing the verses and bridge in this song) were always my favourite members of them. I used to wear similar kinda baggy clothing and hairstyles to them as well since this was literally my high school years back when I was still living in Russia XD
I started highschool in the year 2000 so the last day of 99 should've been a big day for me anyways. Now I don't know how it is right now, but at least in my country, back then the first year in high school wasn't much different than the last year in middle school, meaning that, you still hanged around the same people, did basically the same things, and even thought basically the same stuff about the world and what not. It wasn't until you went sophmore that your personal world began to change, and of course, on a geopolitical scale that was the year 911 happened so it was probably the msot important year of this millenium so far. Outside of my little personal world, and as far as music and fashion goes, I'd say the vibe that sort of began in late 97 didn't end until early 2003.
Also, I actually hung out with Richard (the blue eye one) in Thailand one year on holiday. Really nice guy. Got girls like you wouldn’t believe. I was about 20 he would’ve been in his 30s and every girl on the island was basically hanging off him.
Bringing in the millennium was a 50/50 situation. 50% of us were excited an thought we were gonna get flying cars, robots an money would fly out the cash machines when it hit midnight of 2000 The other 50% thought the world was gonna end an stocked up on supplies and hid until it was safe to come out 😂
We all thought that we'd suddenly be transported into the future, robots and flying cars But we were all worried that at the stroke of midnight all computers were gonna stop working, hence Y2K
I turned 18 in 1998 so yes, I lived the 90's. The best decade ever. It was so much fun. Please react to "Human Nature" by Madonna, that's from 1994 and it's r&b and it's fire.

1999 New Year’s Eve was crazy here in England 🏴 had massive party I was only 16.
The tune was a sample from Last Night A DJ Saved My Life by Indeep.

This boy band is actually from the UK (not US)
5ive was so huge over here in Britain. They had to make hotlines when they split because their fans were so heartbroken.
