i think that scene with vanitas and ventus is another illusion the realm of darkness made to mess with aqua to finally break her and make her fall to darkness (i seriously don't think that xheanort got to her) and that would explain the small clip of vanitas standing over aqua with his keyblade pointing down ready to strike. also there's no way in hell vanitas got there before aqua because A: she's the only one who's able to get to the chamber of awakening, and B: it's clearly the land of departure and not castle oblivion, meaning she had to get there and turn it back before the scene (assuming it's really happening

I dont hate Terra. People hate Terra because he made stupid mistakes. Everyone does. Riku also made stupid mistakes but unlike Riku, Terra didnt get a second chance to redeem himself. To make things right. All he wanted to do is prove to the man who was like a father to him that he was worthy but was tricked by people left and right.
Plot twist: He wont, as Aquanort is defeated indefinitely , Terra sacrifices himself again (Lingering Will armor falls a part) and Ventus essentially sacrifices his life to bring Roxas back permanently. Imagine if that were a thing, it'd be sad af.

I don't think either are a light or a darkness. LW has no heart to be a light, and terranort hasn't worn the cloak. I think I can explain why terranort is there at all, but for now..... they fight a fair distance away from the 7 and 13.

Here's a theory Ventus is found but not awoken since we see him looking asleep in the final battle trailer. This is because Sora re-awakened Roxas who took Ventus's heart with him. And Sora must choose to take away what he worked so hard to do for making roxas his own person or leave Ventus in a coma state permanently.
With the new information we have from the Final Battle trailer, I am now included to believe that the scene with Chirithy takes place in Scala as Caelum, and thus after Ven has already been saved and everyone taken from Sora. Instead, I think Chirithy will be the one to make Sora realize he has the power to bring them all back again.
I would take it a step further. I think Ansem found Aqua in the Realm of Darkness originally and defeated her in battle, as she is shown (still herself) fighting his guardian without a Keyblade in one of the trailers. She is defeated and forced to restore the Land of Departure (maybe after seeing Xemnas and realizing Terra is still in his heart). Afterwards, Vanitas extracts the darkness in her heart, similarly to how Xehanort did the same thing to Ventus, creating the Dark Aqua that Sora fights at the Dark Margin. This allows Vanitas to break the seal that is protecting Ventus, but as you mentioned, he is unable to awaken Ventus due to the fact that Ventus' heart rests within Sora. Thus Vanitas seeks to confront Sora, as he does in the original Monsters Inc. trailer in an effort to obtain Ventus' heart. Sora is able to push back and defeat Vanitas, but I think Vanitas lures Sora to the restored Land of Departure in order to have Sora give Ventus back his heart. At least, that's my thought. But overall, I think you have a solid theory, and I hope it is confirmed in KH3! Looking forward to more, as always!

Aqua lost the Master's Defender in 2.8. We watch it leave her behind as Destiny Islands returns to the Realm of Light, and has probably been drifting towards shore since the beginning of KH1. That's why in TGS 2018 we see that Aqua has to fight Ansem SoD unarmed. So I don't think she'll cast it aside when she gets norted. She gets norted because she already doesn't have it. It's possible she gets possessed by Ansem and defeats Riku/Mickey with the Guardian. Then either Ansem gets exorcised by Sora or else he leaves willingly with a piece of Xehanort's heart left inside her after she takes Mickey's Keyblade, since now she could fight without the Guardian.
okay so I remember about a theory I was working on well still working what if sora becomes a part of kingdom hearts here me out cause the reason I thought about it is because of if sora does defeat xehanort what would be the aftermath of the battle cause the worlds where effective by the darkness and from xehanort trying to form the X-blade and after beating him and destroying the key what would be the aftermath cause the worlds are no longer balanced and darkness was beginning to flow into all the hearts of the worlds cause think about we beat the bad guy but it doesn't mean it fully over cause even when the bad guy is down for the count you still gotta clean up their mess. so any why the worlds all start to slowly fade into darkness and their all wondering what can they do to fix everything and that's when it happens a light from kingdom hearts and as it shines down sora fells as if the light is calling out to him and telling what he must do sora stops and thinks about what he should do and thus that's when he makes up he's mined he walks into the light as he walks in to it he begins to fade becoming a part of kingdom hearts and restoring all the worlds.
It's a nice theory but I dont think Sora would need to sacrifice himself when he can clean up their mess by destroying the heartless and cleansing the world like he always does. Plus, Nomura confirmed in an interview that KH will continue after KH3, this just being the end of the Dark Seeker saga. And that Sora will still be the main character going forward, so if Sora becomes a part of kingdom hearts, then he cant really be the main character anymore sadly :/ but it's still a GREAT theory, you're great at those!!

We're sure he will be saved. However, the cloud scenes are sora's as he is finding his way to Ven. I even theorize that it might be bad to dive to your own heart more than once which is why they are clones of sora everywhere
It isn't Sora's, it is Ven's. So at the end of BBS, Ven asks if he can stay in Sora's heart to heal. Whenever this happens in KH3, because of the connection of Sora's and Ven's hearts, Chirithy is able to talk to him. But that's with the limited information we have at the moment. It makes the most sense to me. He may not have felt the chirithy since Ven's heart was still recovering. Now that he is fully recovered, when Sora dives into his own heart again, he meets him and I'm guessing he saves him from something. I don't think that world will be without conflict. It could even have been a test by Chirithy to make sure Ven was safe from external sources. Since the conversation is out of context, but it seems Chirithy is taken back which makes me believe he had done something that would make him believe Sora wouldn't return. Context is king and we are without it at the moment. Sorry, I ramble.

One thing I don't get about all of this, how will Ventus and Roxas be able to exist at the same time? Because even though they're very different people they both come from the same person, Sora. It would b very interesting if both characters ever met up together.
If this story will end the Xehanort arc, then it might now end well either Sora or Riku. That's what i think of these chars. Besides, Donald and Goofy will survive this war.
Kinda makes you wonder how the whole identity clarification will go. Say, Ventus comes back and since Sora holds his heart and Roxas returned to Sora. Does Roxas' memories transfer to Ventus? Or does Roxas'memories remain with Sora?

Ok I understand that nobodies are the "body" that forms as a result of losing their heart becoming a heartless. My question is if someone is norted do they have a nobody (Luxu, and Aqua specifically).
No, we have seen that with Terra: When Xehanort heart takes control of him he was still there as we can see in the fight with aqua. Later Terra-nort split himself into the heartless Ansem and the nobody Xemnas. Also some say that ansem's guardian is Terra's darkness because the Guardian first appears shortly when Terra tried to remove Xehanort heart from his body after the fight with Aqua.
i hope this comes out on the switch i dont care if it takes half of the month to port this game on the switch i want to play this without getting a new console just to play one game

I just don't understand how The Land of Departure can be Castle Oblivion. I mean, I understand the notion that they are. But, if Yen Sid's tower is The Land of Departure, how can they be in it (KH1, 2 and DDD) if its supposed to be Castle Oblivion hiding Ventus' body? I love this theory, and am going with it myself. That's just a question that came to my mind when watching. Considering how confusing this story was made and setup I think its a fair question lmao
Yen Sid's tower isnt The Land of Departure. All Yen Sid's tower is, is a place within the Realm Between. It's completely separate from Castle Oblivion as they're two different places

Ventus won't be saved based on the last trailer. I don't think any of the BBS trio gets saved necessarily. Their spirits will be put to rest I believe. But will they like..go on living their lives by the end of KH3.. I highly doubt it.
There's two flaws in this theory but they're both small really lmao. One, transforming a World would require Sora to already be called a Master as it only an ability known to Keyblade Masters (runaround being Yen Sid just telling him how but that's too simple even for Kingdom Hearts). Two, there's now three Chirithy related characters with UnionX bringing in Larxene's somebody. Also, little conundrum I thought about. If the Organization originally had Marluxia and Larxene but they were known as Neophytes of Org. XIII, then when did they meet Xehanort for him to twist them? They both come after Axel in Number so they were converted after and we all know he was converted most likely during the ten year skip between BbS and KH1. So, my question is Just how old must they be to have been present in UnionX, the downfall of those Wielders and even BbS without any mention or even cameo?
Sora won't lose the power to wield a keyblade. Only because his keyblade chose him while he was worthy. Yes, Ven being in his heart made him capable but the Kingdom Key chose him. So even if Ven wakes up Sora will still be the same as before! :]

Without Ventus, Roxas couldnt have existed. Roxas is both Ventus' nobody AND Sora's nobody. At the end of BBS, Ven's broken heart too refuge in kid Sora's heart in order to heal itself. But when Sora released his heart at the end of KH1 in order to save Kairi, Roxas was born. But because Sora's heart was made up of both his and Ven's, that's why Roxas looks like Ven but acts like Sora.

Remember that in kh2 final video we could see that Roxas and Sora have the same face, they just have a different hair and colour skin. Only one potential problem with your theory. Or rather something that doesn’t add up potentially. In the monsters inc trailer Vanitas talks to Ventus through Sora. Why would he do that if they already had an encounter prior to that?
You're correct! A friend had brought this point up to me after the production of this video as well. It could potentially take place after the events of the Monster's Inc trailer, where as we may not actually attack Sora in that world and may wait until Sora foes half the work of reviving Ventus for him
But wait I thought the drive forms weren't really canon abilities? We almost never see Sora use them in cutscenes,(besides the first time we see him get his KH2 outfit) I thought they were used to exaggerate things for the sake of gameplay.... that could be a good theory lol.
Nah everything at Sora's disposal is canon. Including summons, that's why though you dont go to China in KH1, mushu was a summon in kh1, that's why he already knows sora and crew in kh2
Well here's the thing about that man he had those powers without the keyblade and he only has the keyblade because he has a strong heart granted he still has a strong heart he can still use the keyblade and regain those abilities as he did in chain of Memories Kingdom Hearts 2 recoded I swear it seems like Sora is always losing his ability some way or another as he adequately put it it happens all the time

One thing I don't get about all of this, how will Ventus and Roxas be able to exist at the same time? Because even though they're very different people they both come from the same person, Sora. It would b very interesting if both characters ever met up together.
If this story will end the Xehanort arc, then it might now end well either Sora or Riku. That's what i think of these chars. Besides, Donald and Goofy will survive this war.

Kinda makes you wonder how the whole identity clarification will go. Say, Ventus comes back and since Sora holds his heart and Roxas returned to Sora. Does Roxas' memories transfer to Ventus? Or does Roxas'memories remain with Sora?

Ok I understand that nobodies are the "body" that forms as a result of losing their heart becoming a heartless. My question is if someone is norted do they have a nobody (Luxu, and Aqua specifically).
No, we have seen that with Terra: When Xehanort heart takes control of him he was still there as we can see in the fight with aqua. Later Terra-nort split himself into the heartless Ansem and the nobody Xemnas.
Also some say that ansem's guardian is Terra's darkness because the Guardian first appears shortly when Terra tried to remove Xehanort heart from his body after the fight with Aqua.

I just don't understand how The Land of Departure can be Castle Oblivion. I mean, I understand the notion that they are. But, if Yen Sid's tower is The Land of Departure, how can they be in it (KH1, 2 and DDD) if its supposed to be Castle Oblivion hiding Ventus' body? I love this theory, and am going with it myself. That's just a question that came to my mind when watching. Considering how confusing this story was made and setup I think its a fair question lmao
Yen Sid's tower isnt The Land of Departure. All Yen Sid's tower is, is a place within the Realm Between. It's completely separate from Castle Oblivion as they're two different places

If we're referring to KH2, it says The Mysterious Tower but also underneath says Twilight Town. Not sure about BBS though! And no worries, I'm not a jerk xD

Ventus won't be saved based on the last trailer. I don't think any of the BBS trio gets saved necessarily. Their spirits will be put to rest I believe. But will they like..go on living their lives by the end of KH3.. I highly doubt it.
There's two flaws in this theory but they're both small really lmao. One, transforming a World would require Sora to already be called a Master as it only an ability known to Keyblade Masters (runaround being Yen Sid just telling him how but that's too simple even for Kingdom Hearts). Two, there's now three Chirithy related characters with UnionX bringing in Larxene's somebody. Also, little conundrum I thought about. If the Organization originally had Marluxia and Larxene but they were known as Neophytes of Org. XIII, then when did they meet Xehanort for him to twist them? They both come after Axel in Number so they were converted after and we all know he was converted most likely during the ten year skip between BbS and KH1. So, my question is Just how old must they be to have been present in UnionX, the downfall of those Wielders and even BbS without any mention or even cameo?

Sora won't lose the power to wield a keyblade. Only because his keyblade chose him while he was worthy. Yes, Ven being in his heart made him capable but the Kingdom Key chose him. So even if Ven wakes up Sora will still be the same as before! :]

Without Ventus, Roxas couldnt have existed. Roxas is both Ventus' nobody AND Sora's nobody. At the end of BBS, Ven's broken heart too refuge in kid Sora's heart in order to heal itself. But when Sora released his heart at the end of KH1 in order to save Kairi, Roxas was born. But because Sora's heart was made up of both his and Ven's, that's why Roxas looks like Ven but acts like Sora.

Only one potential problem with your theory. Or rather something that doesn’t add up potentially. In the monsters inc trailer Vanitas talks to Ventus through Sora. Why would he do that if they already had an encounter prior to that?
You're correct! A friend had brought this point up to me after the production of this video as well. It could potentially take place after the events of the Monster's Inc trailer, where as we may not actually attack Sora in that world and may wait until Sora foes half the work of reviving Ventus for him

Yeah, he just lost all the powers such as drive forms, magic, abilities, etc
But wait I thought the drive forms weren't really canon abilities? We almost never see Sora use them in cutscenes,(besides the first time we see him get his KH2 outfit) I thought they were used to exaggerate things for the sake of gameplay.... that could be a good theory lol.
Nah everything at Sora's disposal is canon. Including summons, that's why though you dont go to China in KH1, mushu was a summon in kh1, that's why he already knows sora and crew in kh2
Well here's the thing about that man he had those powers without the keyblade and he only has the keyblade because he has a strong heart granted he still has a strong heart he can still use the keyblade and regain those abilities as he did in chain of Memories Kingdom Hearts 2 recoded I swear it seems like Sora is always losing his ability some way or another as he adequately put it it happens all the time
@@KingdomAce I didn't mean the summons lol I know those are canon, just that they have soooo many cutscenes in the games and almost never see sora really use those badass powers in those cutscenes... I mean you would think that they would show him using them in a few cutscenes...but almost never... although we know for sure that flow motion is canon, cuz we seen sora look at neku using it, and we seen Riku use it...I mean, the whole silouette of defeated organization 13 members can't be canon since Sora doesn't remember Marluxia at all... it would seem weird that after a grueling boss fight that Sora, Donald or goofy wouldn't remember him :/
