I'm still waiting on my special collection version of this game from limited run. I swear they take a year to give you your games. I quit ordering from them a year ago. Once I recieve all my games, I'm done with them for good
Felt the same way recently, I still have like four or five games reserved from them from like Autumn of last year and still haven’t heard nothing. Really do find their turn around time to be a huge turn off. Haven’t ordered anything since.
Yeah limited run have gotten sloppy is sloppy And overly expensive for no reason! I hate their one year long wait time and once I recieve all my orders I'm done with them.
I am completely new to the series and got interested after hearing soo many good things about Symphony of The Night. I think i'm gonna play Rondo of Blood first. But i'm wondering how canon are the games to each other
@@Macktube I’m still kind of a noob myself. From what I know the canon is a bit straightforward but I know a certain dude who can help you with that! The Mad Belmont!
@@TheMadBelmont all right but what about all the games that were released before Rondo? Is there any important lore I should know will there be Easter eggs that I will miss?
@@Macktube with the NES games they put all of the story in the manuals for those games because that's how things were at the time. So in terms of missing Easter eggs, not really cause the older games didn't place a whole lot of emphasis on storytelling. Rondo and SOTN are where the franchise started to place an emphasis on storytelling
Ordered mine on June 21, 2021...and I'm still waiting on it. They're saying that it should be here by February, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If they would've told me that they planned on having them out by February, I would've been pissed, but at least I would've known what I was getting myself into. They delayed this order not once, but TWICE. I originally ordered it for my birthday in July...then hoped that it would be here in time for Christmas. Obviously, neither of those happened. This was the first time I've ever used Limited Run, but honestly, it'll probably be the last. (Until they release the Advance Collection physically, I NEED that for my collection)
Sorry for the late response but I’m in the same boat. I have things I preordered back in September and October that are still in “production” hell. I was kinda going LimitedRun crazy for a few months so I guess it had a positive effect overall now that I’m not preordering from them for a long while. A Castlevania Advance collection would definitely be the straw that breaks the camels back.
Still waiting for it… I ordered the classic edition, now I wouldn’t mind but I ordered double dragon 4 and neon with it and those are ready to go, have been for a while. I’m kinda pissed I didn’t order them separately since the classic edition was delayed. Bleh
LimitedRun Games really needs to do better and allow people to be able to get items shipped despite whether or not they ordered them with something else or not.
Kind of hate how all these companies are taking advantage of people's FOMO mentality but it makes sense to capitalize on it. Magic the Gathering and Metazoo are blatantly worse about it though

@@ScorpioCesarcade I'm in the same boat. You did the right thing, I don't fuck with limited run games anymore.
I thought it was lame that the manual didn't include any artwork from the games and opted for screenshots instead.
Yeah, pretty lame but eh atleast it has a manual.

Rondo of Blood is set 5 years before SOTN so if you do play them in that order you're playing those 2 chronologically 👍

Nice. I got the bigger Castlevania Anniversary Collection - Ultimate Edition so I can't wait for its release.
Hopefully you get it soon!
@@ScorpioCesarcade Maybe 1st week of March. I'll definitely let you know when they do inform me about it shipping.👍

Cool collection of games but it's quite expensive
Still waiting on the ultimate edition just preordered the new one
Conflicted as to whether I should preorder the new one.

Still haven't received mine 🤷♂️
Possible if you ordered something else along with it.
How long did it take from pre order on limited run website until it showed up at your house?
Placed the preorder on June 27th, and received it when I uploaded this video. So like four months smdh.
is the 4x3 aspect ratio still glitched or did they finally fix it for this physical release?
I honestly don't know which glitch you're referring to.
Make sure you play the Japanese version of Castlevania 3. The music sounds way better.
How can one play the Japanese version?
I want to know how too
how much is it?
Loads of money!

It's unfortunate, makes you take a step back sometimes and wonder if it's worth supporting.
