Great run! This was the first one I actually saw happen live since I'm always on youTube and never on Twitch. My girlfriend came over at the tunnel and we watched the rest together. I got really nervous at that door in the hospital and thought she was gunna see a live rage meltdown on youTube, but the GOAT pulled it off of course. Awesome job! I like the thumbnail (just please don't start with the mouth agape thumbnails. They're so annoying to me) and I like all the little quality improvements you've been making lately. I like the little 2 and a half minute intro in this video kinda showing your state of mind leading up to the run. Especially when you say "fuck it lets do one more". Perfect intro to the run. If I may offer a suggestion..... Maybe put a little wording on the screen that says "Earlier that day..." with a highlight of the Uptime or something. It gives a lot of context to how much you've already been at it that day before THE RUN even started.
I was there when it happened. Watched on the YT livestream. I even came in halfway through the run and jokingly commented that I was from the future and I had come to tell people this was gonna be a WR run. I guess I am from the future 🤷♂️

This is so incredible! Grounded run is almost as fast as Easy run. And im pleasantly surprised how many fights you can stealth/run through to skip. My mind was blown how you can almost do no-killz at university. And when they almost killed Joel at the 1st floor of the hospital, my heart stopped for a second.
Is there a major difference in speedrun times on the 2013 version vs steam version? If not, should play on the steam version cause it has more stuff and better on the eyes

On grounded mode only, a restart encounter at the end of the area gives you your stuff back. We allow it because you can easily soft-lock the area and the only way to fix it is a restart encounter. It happens in the tunnel as well.

why did you shoot two bullets into the wall before you get the the giraffe?
You need to have 0 bullets in the pistol and when you restart encounter after dropping the ladder for Ellie in the tunnel, the game gives you 5.
