OK Jackie, you don’t like the list, but to those of us that collect these types of toys, we like a list so we can check off what we have so a quick glance can tell us what we need. It’s easier to keep the list than the box. They also make plushies, and there is a doll that comes with a special version of meemow figures. The special version is just covered in glitter. These go in my Tortie’s collection. She collects cats. 🤪😂😂😂😂 (oh, their feet are supposed to look that way because they are lying on their tummies with their legs splayed out, so the beans are facing up. )
I find it so funny that jackie is so confused by the toe beans 😂 if a cat is laying with its legs completely straight behind them, the bottom of their paws face up (same as the bottom of our feet would), so that's why you can see the toe beans lol
I have a couple of thoughts about this product. It looks like they are wrapped with just tissue paper inside, which should be recyclable. The back feet pointing upwards seems pretty normal to me if the feet are kicked out. My cats do it all the time when they are lounging. But I think a small detail that would be good would be to paint the toes. It would just add an extra touch of detail.
I bought one accidentally because it was a cheap mystery option, having no idea it was a trendy social media thing. My granddaughter literally squeaked and squealed when she saw it. She loves it and carries it around (age 7 going on 8). Granny did good, but . . . the power of social media.
as much as i agree with jackie on the details, looking at it realisticly, this product is amazing. The box size is prolly a standard size, and to do smaller would proly need a custom size, therefore bumping the price up. Same for adding a card, vs a one and done pamphlet (tho a card would be a lot nicer). The choice of printed face vs sculpted or painted, as well as the minimal designs and paintjob on the cats themselves are all ways to save money for the consumer. To add the card, the sculpted faces, extra paintjobs and details? This could easily end up closer to 15/20 bucks US. So the fact that they're only 5 USD? and are still so adorable??? Hell, I'd get a bunch and repaint extras because they're so stinking cheap and adorable! Not sure how involved Aphmau was in their creation, but great job on the figures!
I love how we got to "Why are the beans on the upper side?" to "Must be a trademark!" x'D When in fact the cat just lays on her belly like a dog, her legs stretched out behind her so that anatomically the beans show. I am very entertained by your confusion x'D
Some thoughts: The packaging is likely to cut down on waste. I think they might do better to have a smaller box, which could take away the images but a QR code would work well in that situation. Also a darker tissue paper so you can't see everything so well. Toe beans are definitely intended to be facing up due to how the cats are lying. On the unicorn, having a "cutie mark" might run it a little too close to MLP and copyright infringement. As to the mane running the length of the back, I can see why it was done the way it was because there is that gap between tail and mane on actual horses. I think maybe having more of a gradient towards the back could satisfy the "blank" feeling as that adds a little to the variation.
It's actually really common to see earth pony/unicorn/pegasus toys with cutie marks, without the MLP trade mark or it being a fake, so it being copyright is likely not true.

Oh my gosh, I used to watch Aphmau! Back when she made more fantasy and slice of life stories. I loved Diaries, Mystreet, and Phoenix Drop High. I unfortunately stopped watching her because I lost interest in minecraft for awhile. I'm glad that she's still doing well. I absolutely loved these cute kitties. Unicorn cat is probably my favorite since it's my fave aesthetic lol.

Her videos have had such an impact on my childhood and life that I just can’t leave her channel behind. It’s just to a point where I watch her because I’m loyal to her channel. The toe beans on top of the foot is actually a really cute detail. If a cat lies down on its tummy with its legs stretched out behind it, its toe beans will, in fact, be on top. That's a very observant detail
I thought of another few things. It looks like the eyes are similar to how they do Barbie eyes now. I watch Myfroggystuff review them a lot. And many times the more affordable dolls have almost like a screen printing for the eyes. Which can cause them to look really shiny and pixelated. I think that takes away from a product, especially if everything else has been painted or well detailed. The other thing I will say is I appreciate your unbiased opinions on these figures. It's very refreshing after the reviews a few months ago of some of the Mrs. Bench products. Where I felt like a lot of things were underwhelming or definitely not worth the price point. This felt very polite but honest about what could be better and what you liked. So I do appreciate the honesty about these figures.
This is a particular kind of printing called UV printing, where from what I can tell they basically put the entire image onto a surface and stamp It on instead of printing it in color layers the way you do screen print. It can produce really nice gradients, it's faster, and the printing is less likely to be misaligned, but usually at the cost of it being pixelated or grainy.

I actually appreciate less padding in a blind box because you can shake it a bit and guess at which one is inside better (like if one has big wings then it’s not gonna move as much as the others). I’ve never seen their TH-cam videos, but I love the cats ^_^ I have 2 plush ones (a taco and a macaroon) and star and moon themed figure. For the toe beans being visible on the back paws I think it’s supposed to be like they laid down with their paws out behind them so the beans would show :)
I like the paper vs plastic packaging, but I agree, the paper should be a bit more so it dosen't rattle around so much. I really appreciate the lack of plastic on these. And they are really cute!!! Perfect price point for the quality.

Fun fact: I won a plushie of the french fry cat from a claw machine and it's insanely squishy and adorable :)If you ever see the blindbox plushies of these, I highly recommend them as squishing them is insanely satisfying :)
I got one of these not knowing it was a TH-camr product. I got the fairy cat and my only complaint was that the paint in the eyes/mouth are bleeding (like when a sharpie bleeds on paper). I’m used to seeing paint defects like specs where they shouldn’t be or unpainted areas on figures like these but I’ve never seen one that looks like bleeding ink. It’s not too much of an issue as long as you’re not looking at it too closely so it’s still a cute little figure Edit: saw that the fairy in the video has the same problem
It's probably a issue with the pigment they used for that particular eyeshade. Looks like it isn't reacting great with the figurine's material. My guess is they either didn't test it enough before production or they conciously used it because the pigment was cheaper then alternatives

i'm pretty sure the cat is laying down on it's belly, so if their legs are spread out then the foot pad would be facing up. Try laying on your belly and see how your feet are oriented :)

Yes the feet was done on purrpose. Just think about, if the cat was standing and moved into a sitting pose, it would be like that. They would have backwards legs if it was like that yk!
My sister used to watch Aphmau in 2018. Last year, her coworker got her these as a birthday present, not knowing who Aphmau is. It's a funny coincidence for sure. (she got mermaid cat, and it's very cute)

Weirdly enough, I quite enjoy the raddeling(?) Sound of the boxes. It reminds me of kinder surprise eggs which u could shake to build up suspense! Plus, I like that there are no "rare" cats, so u have an equal chance to get any cat which is great for especially younger audiences trying to collect them all!
My 7yo loves the big stuffed MeMeows. I’ve bought the wish-version of them but here’s have a much much better quality and comes in a giant putter shell MeMeow lol
The figures are cute. Series two for these has more food based cats. And there are also the plushie versions which are adorable too. they all have the toe beans facing up for the back paws.
My daughter loves Aphmau, I find it incredible how she’s able to upload daily (even record enough content for daily uploads) while looking after a family. Hats off to her. I must say the plushies of these are absolutely adorable and my daughter found a way to make sure she doesn’t get doubles 🙈 xx

I got the other series, and ended up with a few different ones looking for the black cat with a pumpkin on it, because well, I have a black cat, and I use Halloween decor all year round as general home decor. Thankfully, the last one I opened, which was also the last one available at my store, just so happened to be the one I wanted! I named him after my cat Vader as well. I do kinda want to collect more now though. 😅
My son absolutely loves these, he has both the plushie versions and these. He has 3 French fry kitties and is now determined to send you one so you can have one lol
I think the best thing about these is the price point, because at that price point, you can grab a few of them, and even if you get a duplicate, these would be super fun to repaint, or even add some miniverse stuff to them to make them your own thing.
One last thing. When kitties lay down with their front and back legs stretched straight out, their back legs have their toe beans facing up. It's just anatomically correct if nothing else.

I think you're being a little hyper critical as they're a cheaper product and I think you're getting fairly good quality considering the price and the fact it's a TH-camr product.
I'm not sure about the figures but the plush versions have codes on the boxes so you can grab the individual codes and not get doubles. I personally like this because the code doesn't give the surprise away but keeps you from wasting money and getting doubles. I bought the whole series 1 plush set with no doubles using this method 😊

My niece absolutely loves Aphmau the one thing i love about her toys are that here in the UK the staring price for the small ones are £4.99 then the price for the small stuffed ones is £10. For the medium ones are between £11-16 then for the really big ones they are £40. The dolls are between £11-35. So they are affordable for kids to save up for in a short time depending on what they want.
Never heard of Aphmau until I found these mystery boxes months ago. My co-worker's young daughter watches her and it actually got to the point where she had to go and watch the stuff before her daughter because there was some content being mentioned in the videos that said daughter started asking questions about. As far as the mystery boxes... two was enough for me. Got taco cat and unicorn cat and they just are kind of... eh. Cute but not something I'd get again. Believe it or not, a lot of tissue paper are not recyclable or compostable. A lot of tissue paper is thinly coated with non-recyclable plastic.
I think I'd also go for a darker color on the tissue paper so that way is harder to see what the future is right off.

I think the upturned toe beans on the back legs are meant to make the cat look like it's lying down in a 'sploot', with the back legs stretched out and the paw pads visible. 😊

Yes the feet was done on purrpose. Just think about, if the cat was standing and moved into a sitting pose, it would be like that. They would have backwards legs if it was like that yk!
if a cat were to sprawl out like these, the back paws would stick up, so that's why the beans are on top :)
I personally think that the packaging is perfect. Very minimal and environmentally aware. ♡

My sister used to watch Aphmau in 2018. Last year, her coworker got her these as a birthday present, not knowing who Aphmau is. It's a funny coincidence for sure. (she got mermaid cat, and it's very cute)

Weirdly enough, I quite enjoy the raddeling(?) Sound of the boxes. It reminds me of kinder surprise eggs which u could shake to build up suspense! Plus, I like that there are no "rare" cats, so u have an equal chance to get any cat which is great for especially younger audiences trying to collect them all!

My 7yo loves the big stuffed MeMeows. I’ve bought the wish-version of them but here’s have a much much better quality and comes in a giant putter shell MeMeow lol
The figures are cute. Series two for these has more food based cats.
And there are also the plushie versions which are adorable too. they all have the toe beans facing up for the back paws.
My daughter loves Aphmau, I find it incredible how she’s able to upload daily (even record enough content for daily uploads) while looking after a family. Hats off to her.
I must say the plushies of these are absolutely adorable and my daughter found a way to make sure she doesn’t get doubles 🙈 xx

@@mml100pink If you look at the ears on the box of the plushie, theres a big hole behind them and if you look through the hole you can see which plushie it is
You can always repaint the doubles and make them look the way you would like.
I got the other series, and ended up with a few different ones looking for the black cat with a pumpkin on it, because well, I have a black cat, and I use Halloween decor all year round as general home decor. Thankfully, the last one I opened, which was also the last one available at my store, just so happened to be the one I wanted! I named him after my cat Vader as well. I do kinda want to collect more now though. 😅
Toe bean anatomy is correct. Their laying down, so if the cat figurines we're to somehow stand, their toe beans would on the ground :)
It is wonderful to see a product come in completely recyclable packaging. So much better than Mini Brands that fill up land fills by themselves.
I love these figures! I've got the entire collection. BTW, the packaging has a cheat code so you can avoid getting doubles.

I think the best thing about these is the price point, because at that price point, you can grab a few of them, and even if you get a duplicate, these would be super fun to repaint, or even add some miniverse stuff to them to make them your own thing.
One last thing. When kitties lay down with their front and back legs stretched straight out, their back legs have their toe beans facing up. It's just anatomically correct if nothing else.

Fast question, since I seem to be first to comment, I got the Sophie & Toffee elves resin box beginner kit, and while I love it, I think I screwed up somewhere. I made an AirPod case top with UV resin, was that smart? Also, I made a perfume bottle using 3:1 epoxy and it’s been over a week and both prices are still flexible and sticky? Why?
Is the mold see thru? Can light touch All sides?
@@Fncooltoys its opaque, I got the molds through Sophie & toffee. I did find that I had to shine my UV light on all sides, just for safety.

I think you're being a little hyper critical as they're a cheaper product and I think you're getting fairly good quality considering the price and the fact it's a TH-camr product.
I'm not sure about the figures but the plush versions have codes on the boxes so you can grab the individual codes and not get doubles. I personally like this because the code doesn't give the surprise away but keeps you from wasting money and getting doubles. I bought the whole series 1 plush set with no doubles using this method 😊

My niece absolutely loves Aphmau the one thing i love about her toys are that here in the UK the staring price for the small ones are £4.99 then the price for the small stuffed ones is £10. For the medium ones are between £11-16 then for the really big ones they are £40. The dolls are between £11-35. So they are affordable for kids to save up for in a short time depending on what they want.
Never heard of Aphmau until I found these mystery boxes months ago. My co-worker's young daughter watches her and it actually got to the point where she had to go and watch the stuff before her daughter because there was some content being mentioned in the videos that said daughter started asking questions about.
As far as the mystery boxes... two was enough for me. Got taco cat and unicorn cat and they just are kind of... eh. Cute but not something I'd get again. In fact I have not seen these back on the shelves for months so I feel like it really didn't have much of a run in my state lol.
I was wondering if anyone knew why Jackie focuses on unboxings and doesn't review craft kits anymore. By my estimation its been almost a year and they were my favorite videos on yt.

I think that her health problems also play a part in this. Craft kits take more time and crafting can be difficult for her because of pains
She had a lot of surgeries and these videos are easier to make.
She said it's cause of her back. She can't sit long enough to craft and make the video. But she does game a long time....
