It is a great disservice to such poetry when one does not mention the name of the poet. This is not a Asha Bhosle number - she was merely one of the many who sang it. Beautiful voice here too - wish the poet was mentioned.

I agree the poet shoukd be mentioned. To say that Asha Bhosle is one of the many who sang this, is unfair. She is the onevwho collaborated with Ghulam Ali in the album Meraj-e-Ghazal. This songvwoukd not have becone famous ij India without her. When you go to to the video sung by Asha, the name of the poet IS mentioned.
