1:55:34 - One of my all time favorite moments in a video game. Reportedly, this anime scene was almost cut out from the game in the interest of moving the plot forward. Fortunately, they kept it in.
Such nostalgia! Played both the original games for Sega CD, and then the remakes for the Playstation. Working Designs was the best back in the 90's! I still have both the PS1 games with all packaging and extras.
19hrs!!! Holy..... Man I remember going through this game on the PS1. Alot of memories playing this. I was really engaged. I connected so much to the characters it was crazy. Love to go through this again but I'm afraid it won't be as exciting as the first time. Best RPG in my book besides GRANDIA. That's another one I was really engaged in. You Ever thought of doing a long play on that one?
I remember this one. This is my first jrpg game. My father just bought a ps1 working abroad. And i played this game as a kid who has no friends. My mother saw me playing this game at night. Took my ps1 and gave it to my uncle for safekeeping citing that the game caused me to lose focus at my studies. After a few months of begging, the ps1 returned but the game was not same as before. My saved files are all gone. Telling that to my mother in a bit of a mad way causes her to throw my ps1 at the wall breaking it down to pieces. I still remember that day up till now. Ive never played a game again that resonates with me the same as this game. Life isnt fair. Bullying just intensifies (with no help from my mother, she has a bias with my sister, so is my father) and here I am with a broken life trying to rebuild it again.
I grew up watching my dad and aunt play this game. I also grew up watching them play Final Fantasy. When they found out my reading level was falling behind. They made me read every line of dialogue of this game to them. If Final Fantasy VII's remake happens to be a complete success. I would give anything for this game to be give a 100% remake/remaster in current gen graphics. I also, can not put into words when I finally gave this game a go. Then, after nearly a week of being on disc 1 I finally made it to disc 2, only to find out. After the cutscene the disc was scratched and I could no longer finish this game. It haunts me till this day.
I played this on the Sega CD when it first came out along with Eternal Blue...have the originals...in pristine condition. This is a part of my gaming life I cherish. Beautiful story, engaging characters and locations...truly a classic.
I have such vivid memories of this game, playing it as a kid. It didn’t have the big name appeal of FF or games like that, but it was so magical between the voice acting, fmvs & super cool battles & hilarious chars, plus great story, I loved it & still do, I remember how hard it was & getting almost to the end & having my friend save over my game:S it was such a thrill to finally beat it lol also was so cool to get the cloth map & art book with it for the first time, I was like this is a game!
@@GregoryAlanBaileygamereviews its hard if you dont prepare properly or try to go places you shouldnt before youre ready, but its a magical story and amazingly fun to play, even once youve beaten it multiple times just to experience things you havent or missed, but then again I've played it on emulator with invincibility cheats just to fight every enemy and get max levels:D
"By the Power of Greyskull..... I mean Althena!" - Mia Every time I heard her say that line when casting, I instantly thought of the original He-Man and The Masters of the Universe cartoon from the 80s LOL
