i watched a POV of this ride and as soon as goofy said “what’s this lever do?” an ad played
I usually let TH-cam automatically place the ads in the video, but since it’s causing an inconvenience for you guys I went through and reduced the amount of ads in this video :)

@@Adam__Tube I wouldn't think so, because Rise of the Resistence was an exact copy and I assume due to the amount of projection in the ride it's already cheap.

I rode the ride on the 5th, the official second day of operations. I loved it! It only glitched on me twice (2 quick stops and the Mickey and Minnie car animatronic at the beginning didn’t came out with the train).
2:29 i think they used the previous room but switched the jungle to underwater to make it more realistic like you actually went underwater

Yep and you can see it quickly change to jungle right before you come in.
As you’re going down the waterfall if you look behind you you notice you’re not moving

At 15:44 watch the train car in the back. It looks like it goes into the maintenance area (it normally makes a left turn to go to the loading station).

I think that the cart order all depends on chance? The last car could be the first into one scene, and then last in the next, and then right behind the conductor’s cabin? That’s super cool
Not by chance they are purposefully done in that order (I don't know why though).
Panda Park Constructions maybe it’s because they want everyone to get a equal distribution of experience. Like one cart gets to be right behind Goofy, the next one gets to be the first cart in the factory... that way people wont be too let down by being last

Great video, disappointing ride. Also, can’t believe Minnie kicks Pluto in the pre-show video. Very uncomfortable.
There is a difference between accidentally and intentionally. If you even watch it properly, Minnie ACCIDENTALLY kicks pluto so that changes the context. Stop being so sensitive about a damn CARTOON.
gissneric I had heard that it was accidental so I watched it with that in mind, and it really doesn’t look “accidental”. Also, for the record, I’m usually not sensitive about things but it was inconsistent with the tone of the ride and generally just not the way that Minnie and Mickey usually act. Also regardless of right or wrong, it’s just not a very funny gag. The group I was in had more “aww poor Pluto” reactions than laughs. Also, yes, it’s just a cartoon. But Mickey and Minnie are cultural symbols at this point and end up carrying a lot of weight and significance, especially on Disney’s image as a company, a theme park, and entertainment icons, despite being “just” cartoons.
Philip Kippel You have the right to like the ride, I just thought it was very “okay” and not up to the standard that Disney has been meeting recently with groundbreaking rides like Rise of the Resistance. Also just remembering how amazing the Great Movie Ride was makes this pale in comparison. Doesn’t make it a bad ride though. Still better than lots of attractions other theme parks have put out there recently.

I think the ride is disappointing. A ton of projectors and plywood cutouts on a mall train car. Not particularly endearing. But I so wanted it to be. Boo.

Not really. Take a look at Symbolica in Efteling. Same ride mechanic, infinitely better ride. This ride is a misstep by Disney, one that clearly says they are no longer interested in providing experiences that take full advantage of a ride's capabilities and uses them to create a better experience than anyone else. They aren't a small, Walt-Adjacent park anymore. They don't have the excuse of cost cutting. They have the money, but they aren't utilizing the assets at their disposal to make truly unique experiences like other parks are.
Burntshmallow “ThEy aRe No LoNgEr iNtErEstEd in ProViDiNg blah blah blah....” even though they opened rise of the resistance, arguably the best ride in the world, this very year.
I agree it does look cheaply made, it has way too much space it does look empty at times... also we are talking about the same company that did Shangai Pirates, so no i dont think he is asking for too much.
It's funny how these "adults" are complaining a ride made for KIDS. Kids would love this ride cause they are not as critical as adults. This ride has NO height requirements. Babies to a certain degree can even ride this so don't expect to have any thrills and don't compare it to the rides like Pirates in Shanghai or Rise of the Resistance cause they offer a different perspective. This ride is not my favorite but I think they did a well damn good job. Imagine it being a new generation of the dark rides you see in Fantasy Land/Toon Town.
@@gissneric and what does that has to do with how it looks? It still can be baby friendly and look higher quality.
Lazy writing, a story that is hard to follow and makes little sense, poorly executed "comedy", a style of animation that is incredibly creepy, cheaply done.
Based on those factors, the modern mickey shorts were a perfect fit.
