I think the trick example of the trump suited cards is wrong. The jack of spades is played there, therefore they should have won that trick over the ace of spades
I thought if everyone passes on the flipped up card as trump, you couldn't select that suit as trump. In the example, everyone passes on the King of Spades as trump, but then they all pass again and the dealer chooses spades as trump. In the example hand, if trump is spades, wouldn't the Jack of Spades have taken the trick since the Jack of the trump suit is the highest card?
If I am the dealer and I turn up lets say the Ace of hearts and all I have in my hand is the Jack of Diamonds, and everyone passes, can I pick up the Ace to make it hearts?? I say no but a person we play with say yes.. Who is right???

You can deal 4-1 table rules on dealer. But should be 3-2 clock wise.
IS THE SICK THE DEALER THE ORIGINAL OF EUCHRE?
No, Stick the dealer is not original.

we used to call 4 points for winning all the tricks a 'march' ...
That is incredibly complex
