That’s me! This was my first H&F event and my strategy was… follow Greg…. and that turned out to be without fault, a great decision. Apart from the flying and Greg’s leadership, the laughter shared, the great chats, the camaraderie, the friends made by meeting for the first time in a white out walking the tops of the Fells was all in all superb. After watching so many of Greg’s videos it was surreal to be chatting away with Greg for a couple of days meandering through the Lakes. Good to be with you in that race mate! Looking forward to racing with you again in the beautiful Lakes!
Another excellent adventure .. but Greg, that BAG! I felt your pain. You worked harder than the rest of us, and kept smiling. A winning attitude for hike and fly.
Just had a copy of Beyond the Invisible delivered minutes ago, can't wait to read while on vacation this weekend. have to go to a wedding where it'd flat, at least I'll be able to keep my head in the clouds!
2 hours and 50 pages in and already having to ration myself. Awesome read, so descriptive I feel like I was there with you and Beagle! 10/10. Can't wait to start your fantasy books! (My usual literary fare.)
Wish I could have bought a signed copy! My favorite fantasy author is R.A. Salvatore, who lives in my neighbor state of Massachusetts, but have read many authors from "dragonlance" and "forgotten realms." And I must say that now I'm reaching the end of your first book, I'm excited to start the riddlers gift! Something I can share with my daughter who loves to read. Anyhow, thanks for the response, will be purchasing the rest of your novels as well, i was going to buy a used copy of the first as my wife and I are environmentally conscious but I wanted you to get your cut! Happy flying, and thanks again for the free youtube content, I will gladly pay for a year's subscription to your website once I'm finished building our family home which I began last summer. Fly safe and keep following your dreams, we are watching and are inspired!
Wow, sometimes life can be a little too much like fantasy. When we bought our land in Plymouth, New Hampshire, I had looked on Google maps and realized there were two hills on the property with paragliding potential with xc possibilities here in the white mountains. (Cannon mountain is 40 minutes away which is a great ski area and is a P3 launch site with 4200' elevation and multiple landing spots) Anyhow I have been clearing trees like a madman in my spare time away from building our cabin with hopes of making the 350' hill flyable. Flat top, and decently round. Basically surrounded by my 54 acres of trees. Anyhow I was just up there and saw a pair of bald eagles soaring a thermal! All I could think of was OH PLEASE TALK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though it was obvious they were VERY busy on their own!

@@livefreedontdie2815 Thanks James, that was my first novel so was a bit, shall we say, experimental ;-) The fantasy work is much more developed.
