Personally I never found expediting papers all that useful, since typically when doing a forgery I just rest for 24 hours to immediately get the forgery anyway, so cutting that time in half wouldn't make a difference.
It isn't useful unless you're desperate for certain armor upgrade drops, but if you need to use those items you're probably more than strong enough to take on the mobs that drop em, or at least you should be. If you just need the one to get that upgrade and you cbf getting tht last mob fight done to get it, sure, go see Mountebank. But htat's already so much faster than fighting the enemy, you'd have to be autistic or speedrunning to think this item is a must have drop. Only an idiot worries about minscule time saving techniques when they can just go kill something and actually have fun and get that drop and that XP (assuming you need it). But as for the general use of the Black Cat, which real G's know you use for making forgeries of stupid shit like idols, or certain tools and portcrystals for strider parkour spam, you really don't need those Papers. You're telling me you'd rather stand around and wait 20 real life minutes to get your forgeries so you can trick your sunk cost fallacy-having ass into thinking this shitty level 3 BBI drop isn't a waste of 20000 RC, instead of taking the 1 minute, two tops run from Venery to Union Inn
I have all these things except for the Light Pickaxe. I completely agree though. The Ring that makes you Dry, the Elite Lantern, have been detrimental to my gear when I got them. I don't mind waiting the two days for most forgeries. And I have so much discipline, because I wait to use my points. I got so much.
I was planning to make guide video like this but you did it first bro ahahahaha nice. It will help both new and player who cameback after the DD2 leak rumour 😄
@@dugarrYT yup but the lantern is found on lvl3 gear that I always purified (because of course from lvl3 stuff i expected good stuff), i don't even pick up lvl1 from chest and I'm been missing some good stuff apparently
i never understood why the elite lantern is lv3. considering how dark BBI is, this would have been the perfect entry item to get you hooked on purification rewards.
@@dugarrYT elite lantern should be lvl1 while on lvl3 you should have had the possibility to find a lantern that dries more quickly imho that would have been cooler

I also add the wyrm ring to inventory when mage and the ring of thrift is always with me.
Both really good items. The Wyrmking Ring is also very good for Magick Archer and Mystic Knight.

Easy way early on is to kill Death with Blast Arrows or Throwblasts. He drops BBI Gear Lv.3 more or less every time.
