Do you think in a future the approach to patients in cardiac arrest will be : mechanical chest compression 120bpm, mechanical ventilation f10 8ml/kg IBW , set epinephrine infusion pump 20mg/h and so on and so on till ECMO. Pause only these devices when ETCO2 rises🤔. What paramedics will do then? Maybe ultrasound, administration warm whole blood, surgical FONA/bilateral thoracostomy, REBOA etc. That is really intriguing to think where we were 20 years ago, what we do now and what future bears for us.
