Its almost coming together! Discord on Xbox started out having to link to mobile now but now its fully integrated into the dashboard, PS5 will definitely add it eventually

This is a great great start, I’m just hoping they bring more interactivity with discord in the future, should be a part of the chat settings in the dashboard, also obviously it would be nice to be able to share my screen with my friends on Discord so they can see the game I’m playing! obviously, but it’s a fantastic step in the right direction I hope Sony understands how useful Discord can be as a tool to connect players across platforms and share your experiences with friends, really hoping to see more integration in the future there’s no reason PlayStation should be so isolated when it’s the best place to play .

Hopefully they add being able to join straight from the console itself like you can on Xbox. I'm primarily a PC player but play with people on PS and this will be a great thing, plus I can chat while playing other games on my PS5.

Xbox started off the same way! Eventually you'll have an option to access it through the dashboard and join any server calls through your PlayStation without your phone.

Wish you can stream your gameplay to the Discord voice call, for both PlayStation & Xbox

I was hoping for a discord app with a similar experience to using it on PC. Being able to use text channels and join voice calls on the PS app standalone. Such a clunky feature, still a beta so it may change but I’m not hopeful

This has been a long awaited update, I hope they will update it so you can join straight from the console and possibly a streaming thing as id really like to stream my games for my friends at some point

Would love to have screen sharing feature with this too, that would be so cool as its not a feature on the ps4.

Nice this will be awesome for PC players that has friends that only does consoles. I'm glad Discord is closing that gap for voice communications across the platforms. :)
