This is cool, but they really need to just add a native discord app on ps5
Yup a lot of unnecessary crap would be cut off if they just added Discord to PS5. Although I think Sony doesn't want to because that may defeat the purpose of plain old party system.

@@Ambush521 its not an app on the ps5. You have to use your phone or computer to dial into a call instead of just being able to do it on the PS5

Wait so when you transfer from the phone to PS5 you need to stay on the call in order to stay in that specific group chat on console? That kind of defeats the purpose. The app should be on the console. Am I missing something here?

Press os button and it auto highlights discord chat, press square it will switch to game chat

You can join on any call, private with your friend(s), public on servers, ect. Hope this helps.

Yeah me too, no transfer to ps5 option, I go into settings and connections and it doesnt show my ps5 there either, really would have been easier if Sony made it down loadable direct from ps5 imo like yt, twitch, netflix etc. Too complicated and frustrating to work this crap out

But I'm on a PS5. I thought I would be able to invite my PS5 friends to this VC on PS5.

@@TheFatJuice in the instructions that Sony gives. You can’t be in discord, game chat or ps5 party chat at the same time. You have to choose one channel to talk in at a time
