For the endless people who keep saying you don’t need to un scope to re chamber a round I’m sure he fucking knows that. No good sniper in this game stays scoped for multiple rounds you’re just asking for tunnel vision. Plus about 80% of the rifles you do need to un scope so it’s just habit.

It's more of a habit if anything, I mean granted you do have to zoom out here and there to check your surroundings but you don't need to do it every time. Especially with a gun that's greatest advantage is that you can stay scoped and keep shooting. A lot of people zoom out regardless of the situation, even if it is beneficial to stay scoped. For example I was playing operations the other day and we were we were attacking on Monte Grappa, we had just captured B and the rest of my team was working on A. We only had a few lives left to get the sector, as such a bunch of their team ran towards B. Thankfully I was using the Ross rifle as I was able to put a shit ton of rounds downrange all the while taking out the enemies coming at and on the objective. And because we held them off for so long we finally got the sector. If I would have zoomed out constantly or was using a another rifle(besides the Gewerh m.95) it may have been a very different story. If you are going to use this rifle you got to learn when to stay scoped and not to stay scoped.

I have a Ross as part of my service rifle collection and she is a thing of beauty. Smooth operation and precision accuracy, on the range and not in a trench it's one of the best rifles of its era
My favorite sniper rifle in BF1 has always been the Gewehr M.95 Marksman. This new gun is basically the exact same gun except it does more damage. So now I'm using this gun.
I've tried this Ross rifle and just can't seem to get into a groove with it. I get some kills from body shots but I miss a lot too. I think it's tempting to keep shooting since you don't have to scope out and you rush shots. The SMLE is still my best marksmen variant

Ehh, no. Squad up is kind of a tradition for levelcap's channel since the days of BF3. Squad up means level, mat, jack and X factor
When we see squad up in the title description, we usually expect to see Mat. Jack and Xfactor.

As a sniper that uses infantry variants of snipers 98% of the time, I loved using the Ross. My new rifle of choice for those longer range engagements.
This thing reminds me of the prepatch Gol Magnum from Battlefield 4. The rechambering feels lightning fast.
In real life, Ross Mk 3's straight pull bolt would malfunctions and punch the living shit out of the operator in the face. At least i checked it in an article.

I kinda wish level would spice up his channel with a new series or something different. I’ve been subscribed since his BF3 days and I’ll be honest the content he produces is getting stale. I see other content creators innovating with myth buster type series and level just seems to have keep pushing the same old content and not adapting to capture new viewers.
Didn't help with the newest game he really can't do loadouts, a LARGE portion of his previous content. Then the normal squad up guys have moved on from BF1. I wouldn't say it's so much his content as it is he's built his channel around Battlefield, and the BF1 really doesn't have much to offer for keeping content fresh

BW83 M while i agree with you on bf 1 being lackluster with the customization and all, there were many TH-camrs who heavily covered bf4, I’ll use jack frags as and example. His scripts, and content has actually gotten better bc he chose to branch out to cover other really interesting games. His analysis of games like battlefront 2, sea of thieves and pubg and his chill yet critical attitude has lead to a healthy channel! So yeah i totally agree with you that bf1 threw a lot of content creators for a loop, but I still wish level would have recognized that and maybe picked up a new game to do some cool analytical analysis like pubg. This would keep things fresh:)

No one thought of that because the idea is absurd. He didn't go through years of building a channel, editing videos, providing near daily content, buying equipment, and obtaining over one million subscribers because he doesn't care about it. No one that "doesn't care" puts that much time and work into anything. It's his job, and one he clearly enjoys. He cares about it in the same way you'd care if your job stopped cutting you a paycheck.

Buddy as a fellow Canadian, the Ross rifle killed it’s user a shit ton due to constant jams. It was just another of Sam Hughes’ Shitty attempts to create Canadian Weaponry, in ww1 the British lee enfield was better. In BF1 tho it’s cool
I due appreciate Dice giving Canada some respect, as we were a formidable force and won key battles like Vimy when Neither Britain nor France could.

le bob I think trash is probably an overstatement. It was a beautiful, accurate, fast shooting (you know... not jammed with trench mud) straight pull rifle that never ever should have been put into military service. Canada should have adopted the P14 Enfield.
Only thing on the ross that is annoying, is the not ads half of the screen taking scope model.

Jason Van Patten man I've gotten surgical with the tank killer class I absolutely prefer it over every elite class even the infiltrator ! I've gotten as bad as memorizing the spawn locations and times on each maps ... something is wrong with me ...lol!!!
