What's great about this video is it's both entertaining and informative about how the procedures actually work and how a good injector actually does it. There are far too many people who don't understand that, when properly done, these are medical procedures as much as they are cosmetic.

I went for a consultation with a dentist last Wednesday in Oxford , he warned that although rare, potentially any injection around the forehead and cheeks could make you lose your eyesight forever and that many do not mention it. Has anybody been told before? Got me worried.. I would prefer a good dermatologist / surgeon. If anybody has had good experience in the Oxford area, please let me know?
there is always always risks with medical procedures and you have to be aware of them so you can make an informed decision. It's definitely not for everyone. My husband had the eye surgery because he was so shortsighted and the risk was much higher but worth it for him. each to their own I think x

Rubbing arnica into freshly channelled needle entry points isn't a great idea, ie Infection could occur as the product isn't sterile. Also the forehead shouldn't be rubbed for 24hrs after Injecting. And one teaspoon is 5ml not 2ml
So true about finding the right Aesthetician to do anything on your face! I have recently had dermapen microneedling and have been left with some micro marks where she went 2.5mm depth, which ultimately means I now have to get more work to correct this. I will now only ever go to a well known doctor or nurse with a track record of success, it is SO important!

Thanks for sharing both look so fab and youthful . I looked away for some of the injections ! Botox isn’t cheap , it only lasts a few months at the most . It sure can help though . I need to listen again to catch the name of the other product . No doubt it’s expensive too . These treatments aren’t for those on a Budget.

Hello Kealey, it's properly kicking in now after two weeks and I have to say it's pretty excellent although I hate having to wait! Injectables start from £265 at Malucci clinic but the cost of treatments varies from clinic to clinic across the country. London is obviously the most expensive place to have anything ever. If you're looking for a clinic I would go to the Juvederm website and find one of their listed clinics.
Thank you so bloody much for doing this! I am almost 36 and planning my first injections soon. But I've been too scared that I would end up looking like one of those people who look like puffa fish. Both of yours looks so natural. I'm so excited now! Also, one of the main areas I want to address is my dark circles and loss of volume around the orbital bone. I finally jumped on the botox wagon a month ago! So happy I did. Frown lines and eyes etc - lovely not looking so bad tempered. I'm sure looking better makes me behave better, lol. Just had my platysmal bands done 5 days ago, think I can see a difference already, back in for check and to top up next week. Natural, pah! Pass me the needle, lol. But follow-ups are usually free. I doubt that is different in the UK.
Hi! costs vary depending on how much product you have - how many mmls. And where you have it done - location-wise - London is so expensive compared to other areas around the country. But I believe Volite is around £700 but it does last for 9 months. Injectables at the malucci clinic start at £265 x
Totally right - the follow up appt is free. And we didn't pay for this treatment we were gifted it by the PR for Malucci who is our friend (we are very very lucky) but we weren't pay to do the video. I know you didn't ask but I think it's important to be upfront xx
I'm so JEALOUS! At 55 I decided creams needed a boost. My dermatologist gave me a test dose because I had never had botox before, thank God. I had what is called a systematic reaction (never heard of such a thing). Started with blisters on the 2nd day, by day 4 couldn't lift my arms, day 5 needed assistance walking. Good news is by 2 weeks out I was perfectly healthy. This was a MD, at a highly rated dermatologist. Now I do fillers, unfortunately my Dr won't do fillers on the forehead, any ideas?
I have never heard of that. Thank God it was only a micro-dose but still that sounds hideous and super worrying. How about a fringe?? I know it sounds basic but i definitely works!!
Thank you ladies (I just can’t call you hags) for showing us this procedure. I am checking my credit card, and will be ringing a certain doctor here in Canberra later on this morning (it’s 03:25am Tuesday 16 July here). I’ve never had anything done before, but I do know that even after many years of the most energetic skincare regime including prescription Vitamin A, the time has come. I can no longer bear the frown lines between my eyes. I just look sad and very angry all the time. Might have to increase the limit on my credit card mind you with all that I need to perk me up. (I am undergoing serious health issues that are not helping the face situation. A double mastectomy plus more upcoming major surgery is not good for one’s wrinkles and frown lines) x

They're from different companies but are essentially quite similar but Profhilo is fewer injections that go deeper into the skin whereas Volite is more injections but not as deep. x
These types of injectable moisturizers are not available in the U.S., still awaiting FDA approval. For now we only have the standard HA fillers that augment the face.
I had hyaluronic acid put into my knees to help with cartilage problems. It made me feel sick, dizzy, and I didnt know if I was going to throw up, pass out, or both! It was horrific pain, and I gave given birth twice. I had to have 5 injections in 5 weeks directly into the gap in the knee joint. It was a much bigger needle, and a bigger vial. Xx
I always have to go back to top up the 11s, I think some people just have really strong muscles in between the eyebrows, I loved the volite I know I may be asking something you aren't willing to answer but, if at all possible would you be able to give us a hint..... Or a ball park idea on cost please 🙏

I haven't had any other injectable so was curious about the cost 😁

I don't think so. Dark circles is tough and because I've never had them I selfishly don't know about them. the only thing I know works is a great concealer. I'm not sure that's helpful but when i was dying of exhaustion when i had my babies that was the only thing that really worked. x

Ok I have been told you never massage the area when you have Botox ( or any toxin ) because if migration of product. I do realize she is massaging the other product but obviously it’s moving and effecting the toxin. So maybe do in the reverse order?? I just would be very scared of having eyebrows dropping

I’ve only just seen this video ladies, fab information from you two funny stunners! Jo, I am also a bad sleeper but have found a solution! I invested in Sleepphones by Acoustic Sheep and an Audible account.. It’s basically a headband that has flat speakers inside so I listen to audiobooks which distracts my brain from thinking about anything else. Also useful for listening to meditation apps which can help. I have the Bluetooth version which are about £80, worth every penny 😊 The Audible app has a timer so that you can set how long you want to listen for, I used to lay in bed for hours trying to fall asleep, then wake up a couple of hours later and go through the same thing again 😫. Now I set the timer for 30 minutes and I’m rarely still awake when it turns off. I am rather dependent on it but hey ho🤷♀️

I live in a small town so it's not like I have a lot available to me, though we do have at least two aesthetic places and a plastic surgeon. Totally right - the follow up appt is free. And we didn't pay for this treatment we were gifted it by the PR for Malucci who is our friend (we are very very lucky) but we weren't pay to do the video. I know you didn't ask but I think it's important to be upfront xx

At 55 I decided creams needed a boost. My dermatologist gave me a test dose because I had never had botox before, thank God. I had what is called a systematic reaction (never heard of such a thing). Started with blisters on the 2nd day, by day 4 couldn't lift my arms, day 5 needed assistance walking. Good news is by 2 weeks out I was perfectly healthy. This was a MD, at a highly rated dermatologist.
Now I do fillers, unfortunately my Dr won't do fillers on the forehead, any ideas?
I have never heard of that. Thank God it was only a micro-dose but still that sounds hideous and super worrying. How about a fringe?? I know it sounds basic but i definitely works!!

Thank you ladies (I just can’t call you hags) for showing us this procedure. I am checking my credit card, and will be ringing a certain doctor here in Canberra later on this morning (it’s 03:25am Tuesday 16 July here). I’ve never had anything done before, but I do know that even after many years of the most energetic skincare regime including prescription Vitamin A, the time has come. I can no longer bear the frown lines between my eyes. I just look sad and very angry all the time. Might have to increase the limit on my credit card mind you with all that I need to perk me up. (I am undergoing serious health issues that are not helping the face situation. A double mastectomy plus more upcoming major surgery is not good for one’s wrinkles and frown lines) x

They're from different companies but are essentially quite similar but Profhilo is fewer injections that go deeper into the skin whereas Volite is more injections but not as deep. x

These types of injectable moisturizers are not available in the U.S., still awaiting FDA approval. For now we only have the standard HA fillers that augment the face.
I had hyaluronic acid put into my knees to help with cartilage problems. It made me feel sick, dizzy, and I didnt know if I was going to throw up, pass out, or both! It was horrific pain, and I gave given birth twice. I had to have 5 injections in 5 weeks directly into the gap in the knee joint. It was a much bigger needle, and a bigger vial. Xx

I always have to go back to top up the 11s, I think some people just have really strong muscles in between the eyebrows, I loved the volite I know I may be asking something you aren't willing to answer but, if at all possible would you be able to give us a hint..... Or a ball park idea on cost please 🙏

@@MissEMc2,I have botox in Lancaster at the BMI hospital with a very good nurse practitioner who is married to a plastic surgeon she charges £135 for my botox I have it in my forehead at about 9 different places she sometimes bobs a bit in the corners of my mouth no extra charge she has been doing it for 6 years so knows my face very well. I haven't had any other injectable so was curious about the cost 😁

Jo or Nadine, do you know if the Volite can be used in the dark circle area of the eyes to help with them, or is filler still the only option for dark circles?
Pugs &Kisses no it can’t be used in that area for that you need filler and don’t by only the most skilled injector as it’s easy to get wrong xxx
I don't think so. Dark circles is tough and because I've never had them I selfishly don't know about them. the only thing I know works is a great concealer. I'm not sure that's helpful but when i was dying of exhaustion when i had my babies that was the only thing that really worked. x

Ok I have been told you never massage the area when you have Botox ( or any toxin ) because if migration of product. I do realize she is massaging the other product but obviously it’s moving and effecting the toxin. So maybe do in the reverse order??

Jo - if you're not sleeping try "Sleepeaze" from Boots, keep a notepad by the bed to note down anything troubling you, so you can "free up" your brain from worrying/stressing and look at some meditation podcasts/apps like Calm or Headspace.

Jo, I am also a bad sleeper but have found a solution! I invested in Sleepphones by Acoustic Sheep and an Audible account.. It’s basically a headband that has flat speakers inside so I listen to audiobooks which distracts my brain from thinking about anything else. Also useful for listening to meditation apps which can help.
I have the Bluetooth version which are about £80, worth every penny 😊
The Audible app has a timer so that you can set how long you want to listen for, I used to lay in bed for hours trying to fall asleep, then wake up a couple of hours later and go through the same thing again 😫. Now I set the timer for 30 minutes and I’m rarely still awake when it turns off.
I am rather dependent on it but hey ho🤷♀️

Looking great, ladies! I don't think I could handle that many injections (volite) but I have considered Botox in my "1" and I'm still kind of deciding whether to go for it or not. I live in a small town so it's not like I have a lot available to me, though we do have at least two aesthetic places and a plastic surgeon. I have an appointment coming up with my Derm and I'll ask her what she thinks! 💋💋
