What was the frost line for how deep that block had to go? I want to do this same thing in Central MN

We like the block to be 48 inches below the ground.

We laid a frost wall, filled it up with gravel. There's just dirt under it

Do you waterproof a foundation like this or doesn't it matter since there is no basement?

We didn't have to waterproof this foundation. Sometimes we do parge porches, but only for looks
