Well Helloooooo,
Today's tutorial is about one of my go-to color changes. It's a modified version of the Paintbrush change which is super visual eye candy at its best! You'll need to get your playing cards out and start practicing your double lift for this one. Hope you enjoy!

Once again, GREAT video! THANK YOU for including the message about mental health. It is SO prevalent among us. I'm still mourning the loss of Daryl. That really sucked. Like so many of us, my brain is wired depressive and it took a lot of love, therapy, and for me meds to get feel happy to be human again and I love to be there for others now and so glad to hear this message coming from you!
We have to be here for each other and while the internet can be a mean place, it can also be a kickass community of support that transcends time and space. Whoah.

I was doing the paintbrush change in the middle of class and the teacher,mid-lecture said holy s*** how!?! And the principal was outside of the room and my teacher got in trouble 😂😂😂 he is a good teacher tho

Sending mad LOVE for touching on the subject of depression. Performers tend to suffer more, on average. There are many reasons for this, and have been the subject of an ongoing study of mine.... I’ve suffered, to varying degrees, or many years.... some experiences very close to resulting fatally. I am happy to be clear, for now, and have found a number of answers and therapeutic methods that help.... especially for performers. I will share one of them, via a private email with you, Chris. Thank you, again. And to the rest of Chris’s followers...... you are not alone.... and there ARE answers, and methods in which to prevent depression from taking over ..... or even taking.... your life. You are loved, and help is here.
Isnt it crazy how thing happen? I've watched just about all your videos, a dozen times, and have never ran across this one. But today , after I got some life altering bad news, I see this one. I was trying to take my mind off of things and picking up my deck of cards is usually how I do it. Thanks Chris for the mental health awareness intro I needed that!
Ive had some serious struggles with depression and anxiety for 13 years now and i just wanna say, chris is right..its something that you just cant run from, cause if you try, it will always find you and when you've got it, its REALLY ROUGH and can make you completely collapse with stress and everything is dark and grey and EVERYTHING is frightening, a sense of doom and dread follows you and its absolute HELL!!..and the scariest thing about it is...sometimes even lots of drugs just isn't enough to pull you out of the hell you're in.
so yeah, talk to someone if you need help, it is NOT a sign of weakness to seek compassion, be strong and open up.
hope this gives some of you guys an idea of what depression can be like.

Thanks for bringing attention to mentail health issues. I was diagnosed with bipolar depression a few years ago. led to a loss of my nursing license, home, family, and everything. hospitalized several times for attempted suicide. finally climbing back. magic has need hugely therapeutic for me. Thanks so much for what you do

Thanks for using your valuable YT platform to make Mental Health Awareness a priority. I too have - and continue to struggle - with depression and anxiety. It's no surprise that the magic community has a higher rate of both suicide and mental health issues. I’m sure it must be an emotional strain when you’re putting so much practice into a routine and but then struggling to book gigs or have to turn to some menial job - instead of your passion - just to make ends meet. That kinda stuff can really wear on the soul.

another addition to my 12 step ambitious card routine, thanks chris!
To be honest, I had an attempt of suicide but a police officer stopped that. He said some words that for some people might mean nothing but for me meant a lot. That words were "When you feel down just remember that we are like a deck of cards, sometimes we are on the top, sometimes we are on the bottom but we are still part of the deck and we can be wherever we want to be in deck.". Now I practice magic (since 3 months ago) and I enjoy because I feel like I can do something that is fun and is enjoyable for me and the others around me.
Btw, thank you Chris for your tutorials because this gives me strength to look for the next day and ask myself "What should I practice and who will be the audience for that?"

this is really cool. Thanks so much, Chris. It truly has been watching you and hearing what you have to say that has actually made me believe that it can be possible for me to find some way to do what I love for a living. I have lots of really original, functional ideas, but I've never put much into them because I really didn't believe they would go anywhere. Not to mention a lot of mistakes follow me wherever I go, but as I've overcome my mental health issues (with the help of magic), I will overcome the obstacles of society trying to label me and present me as a risk not worth taking. I actually started leaving this comment before I even heard you talk about the mental awareness. I've had so many coincidences happen lately, I have to believe that they are not just coincidences. same here dude i've been through depression. it wasnt easy to get out of. i was all alone and then one day this random guy came to me and we started talking. after some time more guys came and now we are a whole group that me and my friend made :)

I think I've watched all of your content thus far, subscribed th Pandrea's channel. Thank you for all the bitchen content. And thank you for talking about mental illness and depression, it's a topic I've struggled all my life with and I've also lost many friends to suicide. Three in 6 months in 2017. I have a semicolon tattoo in place of a teardrop to remind how bad mental illness and suicide affects all of us.
