Your explanations make perfect sense. I always enjoy them because they serve as a good visual aid and allows us to follow along more easily, and logically step through the process with you.
Same but sometimes I think that he explains it, I understand it and he keeps explaining it over and over and it gets kinda annoying ngl
I’m actually pretty surprised he never tried to spin it..
Given the fact that it’s a padlock, it’ll be difficult for anyone to spin it effectively, especially when placed in places like lockers, gates, and cabinets. It would look pretty stupid on him to try and stupider on the creator to implement it. Though honestly it would be funny, if functionally impractical.
@@manuelmontoya8839 but he almost always spins the puzzle.. and just because it looks like a padlock, it’s a puzzle so they can put whatever the heck they want inside. It might not make sense but that would even add to the puzzle.
Imagine finding something actually locked with this thing, you think you can open it cuz you pickpocketed the key from the owner, just to find out you will spend 1.5 hours trying to open it lol
Remember you should be able to slide two fingers between the wrist and rope and always have a set of trauma shears nearby in case they panic

Rope 101, sound advice. I gave my sailor bf a regular book of knots for Christmas, he opened up the second gift which was a book on how to use those knots, proper rope to practice with and safety sheers.

Is there a Top 10 list for the greatest puzzles ever made? I would think that the very best puzzles would be difficult to solve and beautifully crafted. Masterpieces for the brain, eyes, and hands.

You should try 1/4 of an inch thick rope instead, it reduce most of the chaffing. It also allows for a smaller knot.

Would love to see Lock Picking Lawyer solve this one. Also, maybe puzzle locks might be the future of lock designs. Think about it. A lock is only meant to be a deterrent and to delay access to something.

Chris its been probably a long time since maths class but its not radius you're describing but arc length.
Once it's unlocked, inside is a piece of paper that says exactly what your girl wants to eat.
I’m only 4 minutes into the video and the rope cuffs are bothering ME! It’s almost like my OCD is begging you to remove the rope, cuz I’M getting uncomfortable. Granted I know they are bothering you more, but I don’t even know if I can finish the video (probably can :) )

As a locksmith, I had a pretty good idea how the first portion would work, because it's similar to picking a lock. But this puzzle is pretty awesome.

2. from my time learning shabari you chose a really really rough rope to tie your hands together I'd suggest going for a nylon based rope, also if you do this again have the rope tied an inch above your wrists for saftey reasons and have your forarms bound aswell it will make everything more difficult
Also and this is after seeing a video one of your friends did Chris why have ypu never talked about wizard wars and fooling pen and teller
