As a Brit that has watched series and films from all over the world - this is by far the best series I have watched and re-watched. amazing so very sad that this series will end, feel that there is so much more to explore.

Kelly Reilly is the modern day Linda Evens. A gal that sticks up for herself and her goals. She watches out for her family and only her family. That's what's so awesome about her character.
Fans are upset lol, this was an amazing journey, the story was so raw, it opened the eyes of the world to see such an amazing country, the whole thing was a master piece. To all the people involved, the actors, the crew, the cook lol, all the stage hands, the historical add ins like the old cowboys, the saddle makers, the spur and bit maker, thank you, there is nothing that compares.
It is very smart to end a show while it is still at its best! Taylor has many spin-offs that are fantastic so I will continue watching whatever he creates.
I just read an article with the director of the first episode..when Beth is going through her dad's paperwork after his "murder" with her brother..then this heartfelt, sobering, gut wrenching scene when Beth hears her Rip pull up and she races outside into his arms and lets out that animalistic, horrific scream!! Omg..the director said they only did 2 takes because of the intensity of it all..she said she had brought her dog along with her that day and when Beth let out that scream her dog ran to Beth! It was THAT realistic y'all!! She then said that in all her years of directing and until the end of her life she will NEVER forget that scene! I hope when the Emmy's come out that Kelly will for sure get an award for her brilliant acting!!
Love the show being from a little town in Wyo. give the award to Beth’s pup for his loyalty to listen and react to her cries. Pups are so amazing and for her pup to react like this says Collins about her personally. God Bless.
I think Kevin Costner did a diservice to the cast of the show by leaving. This was the best writen, best acted show in the history of television. My best wishes go to Cole and Kelly!
I became a Cole Hauser fan from his role in "Rogue". I have been a Kevin Costner fan since "Fandango" and Kelly Reilly from "Flight". Hate to see this series end, but will be watching with my DVD's, for as long as I am around.

Been a Coke Hauser fan for a long time. I watched Tigerland, Higher Learning, and at least one other movie with him with Brandon Fraser. Can't remember the title of the movie. When I finally started watching Yellowstone, I felt familiar with his face. Took me at least a full season before I realized who the actor was. Dude is highly talented. He nailed the role of Rip. And the woman who plays Beth, after seeing this interview,is just as good an actor. To be able to hide her British accent and even pass as a country American is highly impressive. These two helped to make this show as successful as it is.
This is my take on the last episode. John dies, Rip being married to Beth as the oldest surviving child gets control of the ranch, working out some deal with 6666. Beth kills Jamie and goes to prison for murder.
Beth would no go to prison she’ll send Jamie to the train station. I think Jamie will commit suicide first real and that girl if his will go to the train station
I hope she gets pregnant.Kelly is f-ing amazing. I forgot she was British. Her character in Sherlock Holmes is so different. She really grew a set for the Yellowstone role!
The worst ending for me is: Rip and Beth are imprisoned due their crimes. The Dutton family lose the ranch, and it is taken over by the Indian reservation. John is dead, this occurred before the first episode off screen. Jamie is responsible for what happens to Rip and Beth which Carter to shoot him.

Sheridan's original pitch/promise to Costner was 3, maybe 4 tv movies about this family drama before Paramount changed it to tv series for their initial streaming service to compete with Netflix's business model. So here we are and Costner has gone back to his FILM acting roots with the liberty of having more control of story and the evolution of the scripts in his own movies, while tv actors only get the limited scripts for each episode with limited time to prepare before they get in front on the camera. Movie stars gotta do what movie stars gotta do.

This show had me HOOKED from season 1. Not a single boring episode and these characters are so complicated but still you cannot help but love them ❤
