Couples camper? How about a SINGLES camper? I'm a happily single guy looking for a small travel trailer. Wow this one really got my attention! I'm not a big fan of dinets, yet I like lots of counter space and a big bathroom. I didn't think that was even possible in a small trailer until I saw your video! This one checks all the boxes. Thanks for sharing. So cool!
Neat unit. I like that something that small has a dry bath. According to the website, UVW is 2809 lbs, CCC 1500 lbs, so GVWR is around 4300 lbs. A bit heavier than I was expecting.
2800+ lbs knocks off so many smaller tow vehicles. Too bad. It’s very nice concept maybe other manufacturers could make it lighter with aluminum frames etc.
This (in my opinion) hits the 'compact towable' nail, right on the head. I've always said that when you have that little floorspace to work with, make it have more living space and have a convertable sleeping space to maximize that idea. 10/10 for me.
You aren’t kidding it’s ideal for a day trip. Literally only a day trip. totally inadequate sleeping arrangements even for a couple. I generally like RPods but this one’s utility is extremely limited. Thanks for your content.
Really cool unit! The music at the end was a bit distracting and too loud and it was hard to catch everything you were saying. I think it was cut in a little too soon.
Ive seen a couple of videos of this model and so far no one explains the sofa? Is it a jackknife sofa? If so, it would block the bathroom door when opened up. I understand this unit has been designed to be a “day camper” but how many people are interested in buying a travel trailer they will drag around for the day and go back home at night? Or stay in a hotel? 🤔 I guess it would work for someone with a small van and could the van as a bedroom?
I prefer highway tires. The term "folks" instead of people, customers, etc. Outside speakers... RP150. No slide outs. Day camping mentioned a lot. "Folks used again." - instead of friends, guests, etc. Is this a party hosting trailor? It's a cutie. Thanks for the presentation! Blackout Shades? For 20k I appreciate that. No re-circulating water until it heats up in the shower. DAYTRIP? I prefer highway tires. Best wishes!
What I am looking for in a small trailer is a place to sleep and a bathroom mostly and the kitchen can be optional. Then a place to sit inside if it’s rainy, cold, or the bugs are raging. This would be popular in the UK where people do use caravans for day trips. For me it would work if the couch was long enough to sleep on without unfolding it, or if there was a bed along the front where the counter is, and move the kitchen to where the couch is. I don’t stand up in bed so the curve of the nose is fine. I like the bathroom space and I like the fold down counter and stools. If the couch is easy to unfold I might like this as is since I would be on the side near the bathroom. If a couple wanted to use it one person would be crawling over
I mean i like the kitchen ,but where the hell you supposed to sleep??? and 25k? 2800lbs dry.. I don't know ho came up with this, but i guarantee its not gonna sell well. just IMHO.
JD, Could you show us the RP-153? Especially as a comparison? Also, I’d love to get a hold of that preproduction model. According to the website, there’s a missing exterior cargo door on the front. Less holes means less water intrusion.
@@BTBRVReviews these are quite the neatest little "Couples/DayTripper" little trailers. But, The BEST is they both are short enough to fit into a parking space, or high garage, at no longer than 20', tip to tip
Very nice small trailer. I have to laugh at the tires though. Those things may try to impress upon you that it is an off road trailer, but I am pretty certain that if this thing goes far off road, the only thing that will survive is the tires. With the proper suspension package (that I agree, nobody purchased) it might have been at least capable of gravel roads, but with this set up, those tires are for marketing reasons only. Still it is a nice little camper. Basically a teardrop but with a full bathroom, which I am sure appeals to many (including me). thanks for the review and continued safe travels....
As a person who camps alone, I love this. The only thing I don't like is how they build the R-pod floors using a polystyrene foam sandwiched between thin layers of laminate instead of the traditional 3/4 plywood. My last R-pod floor developed a bunch of soft spots in the high traffic areas. I don't know if they ever fixed this issue in the newer models. If anyone knows please comment below.
I have a 2021 RPod 180. The only place that seems a little soft is the 5” channel where they run the wiring across the trailer. I honestly don’t notice it 99% of the time but know it’s there. This little unit may not have that channel since there is no slide. I would guess most of the wiring runs down the couch side of the camper.
RV manufacturer here is the assignment: Max 15 ft length (including tongue), 7ft wide, outdoor kitchen (nothing indoor), full time bed queen and/or twins, cassette toilet, heating, cooling, 4 season capable, acrylic windows, walk in, garage-able. Under $30K. GO!
Nice little trailer. They put those off road tires on it and it looks like it has reasonable clearance but they have the axle dropped so low that if you diagonally crossed a large speed bump it'd likely hit. Dumb in my opinion. This is something, depending on the weight, I'd consider pulling behind my diesel Jeep Wrangler JL and pull off the back road down to the river etc. But that axle set up would get hung up on everything sadly.
@@sssophiesmom RV's are one of the things suffering from deflation. Many dealers don't advertise full prices anymore. Most will cut prices significantly. And even then people aren't buying. These are toys that buyers are avoiding in these uncertain times. And if you finance its definitely not worth it even at discounted prices. You money is better off in a CD then buying this. The bottom has not fallen out yet. Wait until the end of the year for wild savings.
Love to pull it 😂 won't lug my truck down through the mountains but I bet they don't pay shit to haul em. .50 cents a mile or 68 cents maybe😂 won't be touching em.
I do like the bathroom area opposite of the kitchen but other than that I don’t not care for it at all. There’s no way in hell that I could sleep on that sofa and I’m a small person but I flop around a lot when I sleep.
You had me until i saw theres no actual bed but a small foldout sofa thats designed for children to sleep on. They shoulve made it a wetbath to fit a proper bed in there. They want $25,000+ for this. smh
Who in the heck would buy a trailer just for day trips? This is so small it is ridiculous. And why not show sleep mode? Bet that couch folded down would block the walkway to the bathroom. And someone posted weight of 2900, that is not that light considering everything it lacks. Hard NO from me.
Bro, how about you join the rest of us in 2024 No one has the money to drop 20 grand on a "DAY trailer" are you that OBTUSE??? Good lord man! CALL IT WHAT IT IS A SMALL SINGLES/COUPLES CAMPER. Perfect for me, as a solo traveler. Checks off most of my preferences, and ALL of the most important ones.

I think its nice,!Love the kitchen set up!
But I would prefer a cassette toilet ❤
a dry bath in this size of floor plan is massive
Perfect for me and my dog!❤❤❤❤ love the interior!
This looks like a great rig, what I'm looking for. I wish you'd shown how the bed sets up.

I really like this set up. My hubby and I are looking for something small, compact and easy to tow. The bathroom is absolutely perfect!
I love the little trailers that are bigger on the inside then they are on the outside.
Love it. Really only missing is an awning. They missed out on that. This RV is just right for a Tesla Model Y.
I like that floor plan.
I liked the video, the music was loud enough to be distracting though.
Sorry, my editor has an editing issue.

Get rid of the music at the end , I can’t hear you talking
Looks like a great television watching angle.
That's a cool little camper.

Exactly my thoughts. Who would buy a trailer simply as a "day" trailer.
That is nuts. Especially at that price.

I saw this floorplan before and I was hoping it have some shelves over the countertop

Great video
Love it
Do the sofa's not pull out into a sleeper?
Oh I wanna tow that with my motorcycle! Lol lol
Yup Josh trying to push a subpar RV unit…a great unit to place by your wooden deck at home and use as an outdoor toilet 😂
Where do you store your food? I would miss above counter cabinet space.
I was interested until I saw the $35k price.
I’m going to spend around $35,000. I’m going to get a nucamp.
I got a Sundance Heartland 222RB for that Price .
For sure!
I want one…… without a kitchen inside in favor of a full size queen bed or better yet twin beds.
This would be nice to make as a toy hauler for a motorcycle, obviously the rear bath would have to be relocated
Check out the 18rjb wolf pup
No external storage? Or am I just blind lol. Either way, this is SUPER cute! Love the dry bath and all that counter top space
Can you get them without the radio, speakers, microwave?
No oven, small fridge, no bed. I can solve all of those issues in a smaller package by choosing a Riverside Intrepid 165i.
Just need to know the price, and AC.
Seriously.... for $20K.. this is great.. for $40k.. you can keep it!
Tank size, furnace? Water heater type, solar setup, TV antenna? Needs fireplace
I like it but is the bed under the couch or what ?
Cool little rv but where did the music come from??
Put some bunks in there and I'd buy it.

Needs a better sofa. A futon type. That would be miserable to sleep on.
How r they built ?
With wood in floor that rots ?
What is the cost?
I think MSRP is around $32k. You can probably find them around $20-25k
@@mattcruz5915damn 35k for this .. I brought my 1536 sq feet 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home for 40k lol
Omg. That much for this??

Very nice
Any idea what the price would be?
Also, I am 6ft., 3in. tall.
Does anybody think I would have a problem fitting in it?
Like to see the bed with measurements.
Decent review, but show us the bed, show us the setup to sleep, get some details here folks, thanks!

How do you power microwave, AC? Would have made the toilet a cassette toilet
“Huge Inside”
…or you could just have your event at the beach catered?
