Hi what's the difference between offshoring and FDI
Offshoring is when a business moves a part of their operations to a different country (i.e. production or customer service). Foreign Direct Investment is a business investing into other countries through setting up operations, purchasing assets, takeovers etc. So while they are different, you could argue that offshoring is an example of Outward FDI
