Thank you all for your guesses! It was so much fun to have every one involved and take the time to read all of your amazingly kind comments in the middle of season! Our first place guess is @tammibaker with 7.92! And second place is @tracybarger7822. With 7.85lbs! There were so many close guesses but no ties! Super excited to get these fleeces cleaned and to you guys!🎉
Wow what a large "lambs fleece" 8 plus pounds. Loved watching this video and how you were excited and showed us the movement from the baby. Wondering how close to lambing she is, with that huge udder. She seems like a very mellow lady.
As I've learned from @SheepishlyMe ... that udder "bloom" means she's within a few days of delivering. And that spa treatment might make it easy to maneuver for the birth (not to mention a hot summer with a little one attached)!
It’s also good to have them sheared before the lambs arrive, since sometimes the lamb can latch on to a tag of wool and it looks like they’re eating but they’re not getting any nutrition. They can go down really fast if that happens.
As a handspinner and fiber artist I really appreciate your fiber commentary. I sheared my own animals until arthritis made me stop and always got such a thrill to see gorgeous fleeces peel off. Now I watch you peel off gorgeous fleeces! Thanks so much!
So sweet!! Lamb is feeling the "tickle" of the vibration from the shears! Reminds me of when I was about 7 months pregnant with my 1st son.... we went to an airshow and I was standing right in front of a Harrier as it was lifting off... the vibrations were really strong and suddenly my son started kicking like crazy!! I showed Hubby and the people around me noticed and I ended up with a whole group of people laughing and watching as my stomach went bonkers!!! BTW---he turned out to be an awesome soccer player!!! LOL
TH-cam started running your Shorts in my feed because I love animal-rescue and related type videos. First of all I love your gentleness with the animals. Plus your skill is amazing, you can do large swaths in one sweep and you're so careful around the extremities, face, etc. I appreciate your commenting, also, helps us understand some of the technicalities we are seeing. Thank you for publishing these videos. (P.S. I wish I was in as good a shape as you are, the results of such a physically-challenging profession!)
That’s beautiful spinning wool. My grandfather always said the first “ lambing” wool was the finest. All those added hormones pumping into a young pregnant ewe’s blood , just as when we say a pregnant woman has that healthy “ glow” …those added hormones produce the best wool.
Oh bless her heart…to be pregnant, full of baby and to be put into uncomfortable yoga poses..I was feeling like “Ohhh I’m gonna explode….” 😂🤣❤️ She’s beautiful and that fleece! Wow!
I was thinking that, but maybe she knows she's got a Texas summer coming up before she has that baby. The way she laid there after the salon time was up😅
I actually use your shearing technique to shave my dog puppy for summer, her coat came out really nice. She is a yorki, poodle, bedlington terrier mix and needs a good shave ever so often
What amazes me is how you and your wife can spend that much time together and not want to choke each other by the end of the day. I love you both. And your shearing ain’t bad either.
That is a lovely fleece! She looks very happy now that the heat is coming a little babe or babes with be coming. How great! Thank you for shearing Katy! Love❤k
I absolutely love y’all’s channel. Nd now that y’all have made the information available it’s even better. Also. I love the idea of shearing not for food production but materials that we ware. Thank You for all the kindness you both give to the Sheep. Stay safe.
I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. I’m a city dweller and I don’t have any animals, but I love your channel. Keep up the good work!
Ii truly enjoy your method of shearing. You try to take off the yearly growth in one peace while others dont do so, they chop here or there. I have tried watching others but it seems to me how much that is wasted. Oh and i like when you talk over the editing. Stay safe and drink plenty of water . God Bless you and your partner.
I love your show. I have never seen this. I'm a city girl from Cape Town South Africa. I know when you say Africa people think we walk together with wild animals lol, once again love your show.
Wonderful video. I’m loving this format a lot. What a gorgeous fleece and what a sweet ewe :) You have increased the quality of the video recording, haven’t you? Very excited to see the Ramboulliet!!! 😍
Well done I have watched my friend and hubby shear sheep for the first time and it is so funny watching them one holding the other shearing lol But there's hair sheep that won't loose some bits and some other sheep... Farmer has a mixed herd of different kinds of sheep I will let him know about the hair sheep I'm not going to guess cuz I'm in Canada so good luck everyone
I love seeing shearing. Don’t know how shearing used to be done with just clippers. Film of sheep farming from Australia, cut with clippers. The Reavers, I think…
Love watching your videos i just was curious and i totally lost time and watch about 10 videos in a row and suddenly it was bedtime here in Holland (Europe) never thought i like watching this but the contact with you girls and the animals is absolutely amazing. I am a fan now😊🤙love from Myriam
I really enjoy your videos. Your very gental with the sheep. And other animals you sheer! Your very good at what you do too! Thanks for putting these videos up! :)
You’ve got some gorgeous tats! I wanted to…waited too long and developed a bunch of autoimmune stuff so can’t do it now. Beautiful wool! When the lamb kicked that was wonderful!
I have no idea why I'm here. For whatever reason, whether lambs or rams or cows or horses, I kinda enjoy the haircuts, the getting nails done, births or just being adorable animals. 😂😂😂😂
Well it looks like I missed it, Maybe. Since I can't get y'all to mail me a big old double handful I guess I'll find it somewhere else. That was a beautiful place there that you just did. Thanks for the video and look forward to more
0:30 ngl that looked so rough and I felt some concern over the sheep. But unlike some people, I have the situational awareness to see that the sheep was completely calm and didn't look distressed at all, so it clearly didn't hurt as much as it looked like it should to me. Animals usually let their dissatisfaction be known and you clearly know what you're doing. I just see how people's empathy can get hijacked with clips like that.
Congratulations!! I hope you show what you do with it!
Congrats tammi
Congratualatiins to tammibaker with 7.92! Enjoy!!!!
Congratulations, Tammi Baker!!!
Congratulations!
What a neat experience getting to feel the lamb react to the sheering. I bet that doesn't happen all the time since you reacted so excited!
It is pretty rare. Couldn’t believe I caught it for you guys. It’s amazing to feel too.
Awwww, she was a real sweetie
The corn had me giggling. I guess she was saving some snacks for later!
😹😹😹
It took me a while on these videos to understand what she was referring to when she said they were keeping some snacks.
So cute to see the little baby moving around! ❤️
I love how gentle you are when shearing.

You’re so gentle with each animal you shear. It makes me heart go all fuzzy 🥰
Even when her clients don't fully cooperate.
Your videos are literally restoring my faith in humanity
So gentle! Love how you handled the ewe.
awwwww she was an absolute darling getting sheered! I hope her baby comes out healthy and that she recovers swiftly!
That was one very relaxed ewe. Wow that fleece even has me wanting to spin it! Love your logo!
"I'll call you back, they're doing some construction work or something outside" *bangs broom on ceiling*
It never stops being entertaining how much the sheep are more-or-less totally chill about being moved about, potato sack style. I love these videos.
As a pregnant Mama that has to feel so much better not carrying all that around while she's pregnant! Great Job! ❤️❤️❤️
She’s going to feel so cool after this, and it’s so much cleaner when she gives birth too
It’s also good to have them sheared before the lambs arrive, since sometimes the lamb can latch on to a tag of wool and it looks like they’re eating but they’re not getting any nutrition. They can go down really fast if that happens.
Poor mamma sheep but she did so good. I love seeing you and your work. So informative and you so sweet with the animals.
She was looking so comfortable & at you do lovingly. How sweet!!
As a handspinner and fiber artist I really appreciate your fiber commentary. I sheared my own animals until arthritis made me stop and always got such a thrill to see gorgeous fleeces peel off. Now I watch you peel off gorgeous fleeces! Thanks so much!

Looked like you tickled her when she kicked out. She behaved so well and just relaxed into you 👏👏👏
Wonderful shearing. You are so careful and still so fast. Grand job ❤ that woolfleece is sooo nice and great for spinning. 👍
You were so gentle with this lady. Just a joy to watch you.
That crimp! Lovely. I so much appreciate how much care you give the animals.❤

Gorgeous! I didn't know sheep could produce fleece that was all crimped like that!
The way she laid there after the salon time was up😅
Well... If she's anything like me, that yoga positions what got her pregnant in the first place. Hahaha 🤣
@@crystalcooper1358 😂🤣😂❤️
She is gonna be more comfy giving birth without all that fleece, especially with Texas heat.
Sheep have fewer lambing complications if they are shorn first.
Thank you for taking such good care of these little critters! Wishing mama a safe delivery and a happy, healthy baby.
I actually use your shearing technique to shave my dog puppy for summer, her coat came out really nice.
She is a yorki, poodle, bedlington terrier mix and needs a good shave ever so often
Love you videos. Enjoy watching the sheep just melt in your arms as you sheer them. You are so gentle with them. ❤❤
What amazes me is how you and your wife can spend that much time together and not want to choke each other by the end of the day. I love you both. And your shearing ain’t bad either.

this is amazing content. starts my day off right to watch something so peaceful
Congratulations to the winners! Hoping there will be another drawing in the future. Thank you for these videos. I love seeing the fiber!
I love watching you work with these animals. You are so gentle and they seem to trust you entirely. Enjoy your videos!
Very cool. I recently took 138lbs of Cheviot fleece to the fiber mill. I can't wait to get it back and do some spinning.
Nice shearing job. I'm sure the the Sheep appreciated its wool being taken off, making it lighter. Thank you.
I absolutely love y’all’s channel. Nd now that y’all have made the information available it’s even better. Also. I love the idea of shearing not for food production but materials that we ware. Thank You for all the kindness you both give to the Sheep. Stay safe.
Oh, I think this was my favourite shear so far. How utterly exciting to watch this one! 🥰
Congratulations to the winners!
I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. I’m a city dweller and I don’t have any animals, but I love your channel. Keep up the good work!
Самое доброе и покладистые животное , спасибо за аккуратность и нежность к животным .
Love watching you guys! Thanks for giving us all a chance to play!

How wonderful, sweet and cure. Happiness happens when I watch this channel.
Such lovely fleece ! I am touch by the care you take when shearing, mom, lama or big horn sheep !
What a beautiful fleece and a great sheep!
I really enjoyed this video. Not only was it longer, but you shared some interesting stuff. Thanks!
Grumpy baby, that is bizarrely adorable lol
thank you for explaining all the shearing/sheep terms! i love learning about these things!
Beautiful fleece and shearing!!
I love your show. I have never seen this. I'm a city girl from Cape Town South Africa. I know when you say Africa people think we walk together with wild animals lol, once again love your show.
You are removing pains of sheeps. Thank you sir. Jesus Christ is always with you.
I love watching that long fleece peel off. Look at the crimp, wow.
Gee...I admire you for the awesome work you do!! I am a knitter and know wool. Thank you!!!
Wow , I was way off!! Can’t wait for next week! Those are the sheep we ranched in Del Rio before Amistad Dam took our land.
Mom-to-be deserves a nice, relaxing Lavender
bath after her trim!
Love watching you so gentle, in uk they shear bottoms before lambing mating and some before birth of lambs
You have The Shepherdess from Tulsa's Philbrook Museum. How cool!
Wonderful video. I’m loving this format a lot. What a gorgeous fleece and what a sweet ewe :) You have increased the quality of the video recording, haven’t you? Very excited to see the Ramboulliet!!! 😍
We all feel the relief for Momma Sheep in the shearing ❤. Such a Weight off 🫶😘😍🥰🇨🇦❤️
It's amazing that her little legs were holding up a baby and all that fleece!
Yeah, and I’d like to see some Sean please get made into sweaters, blankets or ponchos.
“Saving Snacks for later” 😂😂
Baby is going, "Hay, that's that load sound? I'm not coming out."
Mom just goes, "Burr, there's a little chill now."
That's some heavy wool.
Well done
I have watched my friend and hubby shear sheep for the first time and it is so funny watching them one holding the other shearing lol
But there's hair sheep that won't loose some bits and some other sheep... Farmer has a mixed herd of different kinds of sheep
I will let him know about the hair sheep
I'm not going to guess cuz I'm in Canada so good luck everyone
Dude that looks awesome. My fiance and I have talked about one day owning sheep! But we move into our first soon so baby steps, loved the video+tips ❤
I love seeing shearing. Don’t know how shearing used to be done with just clippers. Film of sheep farming from Australia, cut with clippers. The Reavers, I think…
I wish you had been close by when we had sheep. You are such an amazing sherrer
Love watching you shear. Up here in Oklahoma we have access to colored sheep from Kate Poster's farm at Get Stitching fiber shop.
Love watching your videos i just was curious and i totally lost time and watch about 10 videos in a row and suddenly it was bedtime here in Holland (Europe) never thought i like watching this but the contact with you girls and the animals is absolutely amazing. I am a fan now😊🤙love from Myriam
That neck fleece is so impressive. It looked like a foot of hair fell away from a 4 inch swipe.
I am really enjoying this new style of your videos.
2:54 i was waiting for the pop up of a sheep definition for corn and then i saw and was "oh! Actual corn" 🤭🤭🤭
You have been doing this job for a long time and I love the job ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for narrating 💜.
Not only a fun video, but a beautiful ewe to boot.
I really enjoy your videos. Your very gental with the sheep. And other animals you sheer! Your very good at what you do too! Thanks for putting these videos up! :)
She's got a beautiful face. And the crimp in her fleece is gorgeous! What's the heaviest fleece of a sheep that you've ever weighed?
Congratulations to the winner!
They must feel sooooo much cooler when done !
I love what you guys do 👍🏻👊🏻😍🥰🫶🏼😃
I wish you post more clips 😊 love your videos ❤
I LOVE the info you are giving us!!!!
You’ve got some gorgeous tats! I wanted to…waited too long and developed a bunch of autoimmune stuff so can’t do it now. Beautiful wool! When the lamb kicked that was wonderful!
Look at that gorgeous fleece and the little mama to be!!!! 😍
I have no idea why I'm here. For whatever reason, whether lambs or rams or cows or horses, I kinda enjoy the haircuts, the getting nails done, births or just being adorable animals. 😂😂😂😂
Sheep are amazing. Ty for explaining some details.
love the logo and front card!
Well it looks like I missed it, Maybe. Since I can't get y'all to mail me a big old double handful I guess I'll find it somewhere else. That was a beautiful place there that you just did. Thanks for the video and look forward to more
I’m drooling over that crimp.
What a beautiful mama

That's so much heavier than I expected!!
I was definitely not expecting you to find corn in there lol 😂
oh that fleece is beautiful!
I love watching your sheering films. You and your wife are the greatest. 1:58
Wonderful fleece!
“Got some corn back here.” I was expecting some gruesome insect that you get in the region, and it’s…corn!
