3U was my very first MH game and I played it daily for over a year since I was out of work then, so naturally, I got an insane amount of hours on it. Loved the game to death. As jam-packed as GU is, there's just something about 3U I love more.

I just picked up this title for my Nintendo ds- no I just bought a ds to play this again. I played all of the titles and badly only here I can fight underwater. Many hated it-I love it! Also have mh world for my xb1- great game but the old titles for handheld are the best. P3rd for psp and this are my alltime favorites!

Great Wroggi and Gobul are the two monsters from 3 I have missed immensely and I know Wroggi is in Rise but honestly he needs to become a staple its okay to have Iodrome and Wroggi but between the two Wroggi is much better in its own design plus its armor and weapons. But the monster I've missed the most from 3 is Gobul. I know they can make water combat betteri know they can and I desperately want Gobul in World 2
Oh and bring back Giginox. Their is zero reason to only have just Khezu or just Iodrome when their are 7 versions of rathalos and rathion

Then don’t compare it to minecraft and legend of Zelda, because the game is dark souls before dark souls (made in 2004) and the game is hard as hell if you don’t know what your doing, along with the fact you cannot call them “bosses” because the entire game is basically boss fight the game, oh and the answer to your question is yes there is a final “boss” but only to the story, there’s still more deadly monster output there and if you want you could complete all of the quests which is where you hunt
