Looks a good fun game, I don't know if I'd be willing to give up the space for one in the garage but the price on some of the games from this era is pretty good for what you get.
I have 5 bally / williams, 4 stern spike 2, and i have a beautiful Sorcerer and i really love it, it's very charming and addictive even if quite simple gameplay
A great classic game and your game is particularly stunning. Drop targets are underutilized in modern games. That spinner looks fantastic too. Btw, the thing at the top of the playfield is typically called a saucer or eject hole. Trough typically refers to the mechanism that ejects balls to start a game and captures them when the ball is lost.
I've got more into early solid states than the modern games. Pure pinba is a description I've used for my older games. I can play them over and over! Trough= saucer 😄 I much prefer the harder to master classics to the modern games with multiple multiballs and ball saves. Pure !
Great vid, I think that's still my old top score and it was tough getting to it(!) I rolled it once over the mil. Not heard that anyone else has yet on this machine. A little bit of strategy - short plunge so it just drops out from the spinner, then come to a rest on the flipper to aim first shot from control. Drop targets & spinner shots off the right target and aim for just left of the left pop bumper off the right flipper to get a bounce onto those Dolly stand ups. Once you get all those inline drops down the target behind them is worth more the first time you hit it, so also worth prioritising if they're all down at least once, otherwise lit spinner rips to rack up the points :D
Keith is popping over to service the game. That being said I never notice that kind of thing anyway. It took me ages to notice a switch was out on Deadpool recently
Lovely machine, nice seeing something a bit older than what I'm more familiar with, thanks for uploading. PS are you sure there isn't a magnet near that left outlane as a hidden feature? 😝 Brutal
Cool and a nice "vanilla" game. it would be cool if somebody could update this game like Stern did with Seawitch to make the Beatles. behind the drop targets add a TNA styled ball lock for multiball, and adjust/move the playfield inserts so they can make the record a spinning disc,
Trough? another Spencer classic. It's a saucer! 😛. Great video as always. Beautiful machine.
An outstanding machine, as proven by its regular appearance in tournaments. Love this era of games, especially Bally games.
Thank you . . . .at least I'll know what to do if I get it in a tournament

It is a saucer. The trough is where the balls are held under the apron.

Thank you, I really appreciate the post.

Thanks Luke mate, I really appreciate that
I'd say the skill shot is to get it into the saucer from plunge😄 that right sling shot could do with a tweak to stop it machine gunning.

😂😂 To be fair he made a right mess on Saturday night playing pinball and drinking beer with Zippy
Don't listen to Gonzo, Rob. He was ordering me around and I went through several cans of Mr.Sheen! 🙄
Great vid! Is the Dolly table on stilts?
