    Hi from the UK. I have the exact same ski. I fitted a the same exhaust on my previous VX cruiser HO. It didn’t last long 😂. The drone was mind numbing right at cruise speed. Maybe send it back and swap for a blow off valve? Thanks for the content.

    I have that exhaust on my 2018 gp and it does sound loud when you are under say 3000 rpm ,sometimes it’s a bit loud for me but once you give it throttle passed that I think it sounds pretty sweet .. I just got my 22fx same color as yours and I am asking myself the same question lol .. probably not much help there .. in the end I think I will just add it ..

    Worx sells a free flow kit that is all rubber, So I bought that over the riva ,because the riva is aluminum tube. My logic is the rubber will stop the sound better and hopefully not drone. I won't really know if that will be the case since I have no way to test them together, and I have to wait till spring here to even run this set up. But I suspect that is the reason there are 2 different kits available. Just my 2 cents on the subject. .

      @@slingshotengage I have the rubber Worx free flow exhaust on my 2018 FX svho and I’m sorry to say it only lasted one ride and I’ve taken it off And gone back to stock! I couldn’t even hear my self think the drone was that bad!

      @@slingshotengage Well I did install mine, ran it 1 day and took it off. So my vote is no on the exhaust. Made no difference in performance, and the drone is unbearable. When I say unbearable, it's an understatement. Someone is a total genius who ever designed the stock exhaust because I have no idea how all that plastic crap can take all that sound away but its like magic. KEEP THE STOCK EXHAUST.

      @@Briandswinford Ty soo much for the heads up! Mine was hanging in the garage and I was thinking... maybe I should install that exhaust. After your comment, it can stay on the wall! Have you heard of the Tommy Mod, for the stock exhaust?

    Thanks for your WaveRunner videos
    Do you know what HP gain you got with the air intake and free flow exhaust mods ? Topend will stay the same because of rev limiter etc.

    Wondering if you find the acceleration not good on this ‘22 model ? With it being heavier what top speed have you been getting?

    • @slingshotengage
      @slingshotengage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It accelerates well, the weight difference is noticed when turning. Seems to cut quicker than the nano hulls. Top speed is limited at 67

    • @jakewoolard3588
      @jakewoolard3588 ปีที่แล้ว

      It accelerates just fine. If anything there is less cavitation and more hook up out of the hole than previous models with the new ride plate.

  • @philmark1788
    @philmark1788 ปีที่แล้ว

    did you tune it yet?

    • @slingshotengage
      @slingshotengage  ปีที่แล้ว

      No tune added yet

    • @philmark1788
      @philmark1788 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@slingshotengage You really won't see any performance gain without a tune. As it is, the speed is limited so might as well remove the speed limiter. I would go for a stage 1 tune if you are adding all those mods. If you dont, you really wont notice any difference. I would also highly recommend a blow off valve.

    • @slingshotengage
      @slingshotengage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@philmark1788 I was concerned about it still being under warranty and tuning it. Def has alot left when the speed limiter kicks in. Do you have an aftermarket blow off on yours? If so, what brand?

    • @philmark1788
      @philmark1788 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@slingshotengage Yes, I have an aftermarket blow off valve. I have the 50mm Torbosmart becasue I still have the original airbox. You can do the 8000 tune and still be in warranty as you wwill not go over 8k. And if you buy the maptunerx, you can go back to stock tune whenever you want
