Are there any other Liteboats in Colorado or vicinity?

Hi, nice work on the video! Looks like you have some great places to row out in Colorado! Question for you-looks like you tried a setup with two mirrors on the rigger but then switched it out later. Would you be willing to share what you did and if it worked? I’ve gotten into river rowing in WI and haven’t figured out a mirror setup I like. The next thing I was going to try was something like that. Thanks!

I started with these two mirrors amzn.to/3WHICmf on rails of my Lifeboat instagram.com/p/C1p3Y1mJEg5/?hl=en&img_index=1. They provided a good vision, but suction cup mounts didn't hold very good. Well, it was winter. Probably, they would be doing better in higher temperatures. So, I switched to a single larger mirror on selfie stick: amzn.to/4ca2rZ6 . I think a better solution would be to have 2 mirrors with a different angle of view. You should check this video around 11:00 vimeo.com/312408891

Michael, have you just rowed in MR340? What boat do you have? I wasn't ready with my Liteboat for MR340 this year...

@@fitover67 Thanks for the info! I think I’m going to try something like what you had on the rigger but mess with the mount, make something more like a bike handlebar mount. I can see the merits of the selfie stick approach but I feel like it might be too in my face.
Yes tried the 340 this year. I’d done it 3 times before in canoes but this was my first time rowing. DNF at Miami (about mile 110) unfortunately. My boat is a Maas 24 and I was really happy with it. But 340 miles is a long way to row lol. If you’re thinking about doing it let me know I’d be happy to chat sometime!

@@michaellauterbach1375 There are some rowing mirrors mounted on oarlocks. It looks like you had the best time at Waverly. I paddled MR340 several times in different solo boats and SUPs. Concerning rowing I am still in a learning stage. BTW, guys in the Rowcruiser hit a buoy ...

@@fitover67 Nice ok so you get it then. Yeah I was fast into Waverly and felt good but struggled after that. I’m still learning and haven’t quite gotten a forever pace down. Another year in the boat will do a lot I think. I did not hear about the buoy that sucks. They had a big flood earlier this year that washed most of them out but the ones that were left were half submerged so would be easy to hit in the dark.
