How to make a Salt Cellar

- Although Salt Cellars have been around for centuries, I just recently learned of them and thought making one would be fun. I made mine from some sweet air dried cherry. The results were great and it will be a useful addition to the kitchen.

Hi Jeff, I don’t normally write comments but felt I had to!
I’ve only just got into woodworking and love these little projects, I’ve been diagnosed with cancer, I’ve had 6 months of chemo and all is looking good, I’ve just had a op and have had 3 days in bed in which time I think I’ve watched 80% of your videos which are all great and have given me so much enthusiasm to get out in the shed and try some projects, I love the outtakes proves we all make mistakes! Like I say I’ve only just started woodworking and only just found your channel, keep up the great work 👍👍👍

Nice job, the salt cellar came out great.
Thanks. I need to make another one soon. I gave this one away as a gift a while back. Glad I made a template. Lol.
Nice work Jeff, Looks great. For future reference, you can use your drill press and a short straight piece of the allen key to manually drive the threaded insert into the wood.
