Lol he literally f'ed up screen just for cosmetic purposes. Now that green line will grow bigger over time,and customer will need to change whole amoled screen.
yes it's a big risk and some places that repairs screens take this risk but with high cost

great work man but i watched a couple of videos including yours all of them have failed a way or another with the lcd at the end i think it's a big risk to change the victus glass and no one should take it unless u don't care about what would happen

I've been gathering up the courage for a few weeks now. Even did a 'dry' run on an old Xiaomi Mix, I succeeded but there is an inch big 'black hole' somewhere in the middle of the screen... I replaced the LCD on my MI11 with a new one once already and it cost me 200$. Fingers crossed. If you have any tips before I test my luck, I'd be very gretaful. :$
thanks for sharing, i have just completed removing top glass on this model and cleaning off the oca. can i ask where you got oca with glass pre installed please? im gona have to maybe use loca for this as supplier does not have oca. you should never ever press the oca with your fingers, let the machines do the work.

Verdade ! No Brasil ele entregaria com tela apagada , pro cliente chegar em casa feliz , ligar no carregador e quando ver a linha verde. E quando ele fosse levar pro técnico ele iria dizer que é golpe 😂😂😂que derrubou e veio reclamar . É assim que iria acontecer no Brasil.

*Sou técnico e falo que nessa ocasião Eu não assumiria o risco, por que eu passo o risco para o cliente antes da troca, que pode danificar o display então ele aceita ciente disso.*
*Se ele for levar na autorizada vão trocar a tela completa e vai pagar mais caro, o vidro e uma forma de você tentar econômizar mas o certo era trocar tudo mesmo*

Can you use UV glue to attach the OCA screen? When you can use UV glue you prevent putting pressure on the screen and therefore prevent damage to the OLED screen. Maybe this makes the succes rate higher.
