@@laurentiuanton4806 If you were using yours you'd realize not everyone has the experience to decide what a tank needs. The best way to avoid wasting time and resources is to just copy someone else's build until you feel comfortable enough to decide for yourself.

The main reason for emptying the 2 rounds on the Lorr 40t was so you wouldn't be a one shot for the T30. If the Lorr had hit you once, you would have died to the T30 shot.
Speaking of Italians, if only Wargaming developers can find it in their hearts to introduce the L3/35 (with the 20mm cannon) as New Year’s 2022 feature tank! I won’t give up on this request. 🇮🇹🇮🇹. It’s a perfect fit, very cute, and meme worthy.
Here’s hoping for the Celere Sahariano and German P26/40 medium tank as well! 🇩🇪🇩🇪

It’s that magnificent horsepower that makes it stand out. 1000 Italian stallions under the hood make that tank climb anywhere in a hurry!

@jb ? Without the nerfs it would obviously be too good, so the nerfs were justified imo.
( In Russia they had like 3-5 Standard Bs in every game, before people in eu even noticed how good they were)

I would love to have some sort of autoreloader tank but I am too lazy to climb the tech tree xD
If you ever do it the tier 8 is wonderful upgraded
I enjoyed the tree apart from the stock p44 and the t7 tank
In most tech trees the tier 7 is the worst grind
Just get a 2x on its tree everyday

still my favorite autoloading medium tank and first tank i got a second MOE (85%) skoda is the better bust dmg for me it just feels like a leo pta with a auto reloader.
For actually grinding the Pt A, while th 278 mm penetration of the gun is really nice, I'll take the auto reloader every time of the day x)

My fav t9 medium is very underrated Type 61. Great DPM, great pen, great gun handling, 10° of gun depresion, top speed is not great 45 km/h but engine power is amazing and reverse speed is 23 km/h so I realy like it. It's a very good all rounder.
No armor at all, but I kept it too. Something about it that I enjoy. Its a sneaky hidden gem.
I don't know why but P44 Pantera is my new fav tier 8
I find that with this line the difficulty of switching shell types means i usually just stick with the standard ammo. Makes for nice cheap games and still get decent damage.

the pro 46 is the best all around because it still uses a gun rammer.
yeah one of the most audacious things WG ever did. They basically gave this tank a fourth equipment slot. Really unnecessary to remove the ability to equip a gun rammer for autorelaoding heavy tanks. They weren't op, that nerf was unjustified.

This tank is my 3rd t9 I ever had. I LOVED IT!! Even after the nerf I still think it's awesome.
Before the big nerf, the Standard B was a really good tank. Now, it's still a good tank, just not as good as it was before. But I still enjoy playing it.
Yeah I remember the posts on Reddit. They showed pictures of the Russian server where apparently they had 3-5 Progettos or Standard Bs in every team all the time. Because as they said some Russian TH-camrs hyped them up pretty hard. Even tho here in Europe you wouldn’t even had 1 consistently per battle.
They nerfed it to avoid a flooding in other regions besides Russia aswell. I don’t believe they would be everywhere, just like you don’t have 3-5 STB1s in every game, but the nerfs were ok I guess.
@@gotrix2965 Well the fact that you could no longer add a gun rammer was one of the biggest nerfs. That and the reduced gun handling. But before the nerfs this tank and I would argue the Pantera were really great and fun tanks.
Predatory monetization, lootboxes and gambling in game. More than that WG don't respect their playerbase. Was playing a lot, now don't want to go back. Fine game ruined because of bad management.

It because I saw the three mark and went to check his stream in late game just in case.
What I like about this one is that you have to think about whether you can kill your target in 1 salvo, or you have to retreat in between individual shots to conserve HP. You really have to pick your engagements.
Yeah it's 4th worst by win rate but looks like T-54 is 6th worst so it's really not in a bad company. I think those two are just super popular lines to play even for beginners and it shows in the win rate. T-54 is after all essentially the same tank as the best win rate tier 9 medium, T-55A. Only the players are largely different

Before the nerf I agree, today the rate of fail shoots on standard B is a bad joke ( like WoT) even with food and bond ventilation and stabi the gun handling is below for Tier 9

My favorite tier IX tank has been the T54. some of my best games were in the T54.
It's fine but you need to fire a lot of gold. Similar to Obj. 416

The Standard B was also one of my favorite tier 9 tanks in this game as well. I just had a great time playing it and the potential damage it could put out was just amazing. I was extremely let down after getting the prog 65 and its absurdly long reload times while also sitting in a larger profile tank whose armor seems to be in the enemies advantage, and not mine...
A Review of tier 9 tanks in context of Frontline would have been worth its own video.
Fun fact: the prototipo Standard B and Porsche Leopard Prototyp A were both prototypes for development of the Leopard 1.
I watched the vid where qb was talking ab influencing that one extra game. Today I got a t10 mm against obj 260,279e and 268v4.
We won city and went back to defend cap. I was in my IS 3 II.
I hit the guy last second on the move sacrificing myself and getting set on fire. Got 100 base defense points and that's the reason we won lol. THANK YOU QUICKYBABY
When I play my Leopard PTA and I see a Tiger 1 on enemy team, I see 1500HP to farm and sadness in my heart.
I didn't know the Standard B had such good HE penetration but then for the reason QB mentioned, I wouldn't really dream of reloading HE unless for very, very specific reasons.
imo the reason this game got so fast paced is because there are Auto-reloading damage monsters blasting round the map at silly speeds fully clipping out top tier heavies with zero difficulty whatsoever. I'm personally fine with hulldown bouncefests. it means the game lasts longer than 4 minutes lol

Yes both lines are crappy. Altough meds are kind of playable while heavies are straight up useless.

Out of the T8 T9 and T10 I found this was the worst. I got very frustrated at it being slow gun wise and the bump over the engine annoyed me. The T8 and T10 have spaces in my garage because of this
I ground for a long time to eventually get my Standard B. When I was grinding its upgrades, I had about a 50% WR. Since fully upgrading it, I have been put on nothing by terrible teams that lose in the first 2 minutes of play (3-15, etc.). I've only played a total of 48 battles with this tank, but it's frustrating that I don't think I've had a single win since the final upgrade, leaving me with a 31% WR. Some tanks just seem to be unlucky with the MM.
That all said, I think it's a wonderful tank, sharing my favorite Tier IX status with the AMX 30. I'm quite comfortable with the Italian auto-reloaders. I prefer them over the standard autoloaders.

on blitz, i think the foch(not up to date like jp td) or vickers. SB has no armor i hate t91 platoons

@@sir.roe-say SB is one of the 3 prototypes for the Leopard 1, so it make sense it doesnt have armor. Vickers meanwhile is before Centurion came into existence.
Despite it having no Armor, the SB is really good even after the nerf it got long ago. And to be real, its the same concept as WoT's M4 51 better than M4 54 tier for tier.
SB has better ... Than Prog 65.

SB also has a front mounted turret which is an advantage like the Prog 46 at tier 8. Honestly SB is just better and ive grown fond with it just like QB here.

I am a 49% Wingate scrub, have 65% Wingate in my standard b so far in NY 65-70 games. I love this tank so much
Hilariously this is also one of my favorite tier 9 mediums - however, I’m a Console player, and on Console, the ENTIRE Italian medium tank line was utterly butchered statistically on release. Compared to PC, the Italian mediums on Console have a shocking 27% reload nerf.
But despite the god-awful nerfs, the Standard B has always been a high performer for me.
yeah seriously why would anyone play this game on console (or any shooter-like game for that matter.) The graphics are worse than WoT was originally first released in 2010.
The heavies are just tragic on console too
Standard B used to be one of the best Tier 9 medium, but even if I gave it three bond equipment , it barely works right now.

day 2. play the derp jumbo with the stock turret
I play the jumbo with the tier 6 cannon, 3.6 secs reload and the stock turret. Works the ridge line and sidescrapes like a beast on tier 6. Totally underrated tank. One fo the best tanks I have ever played.
@@georgiospapahatzis9910 i play with the 105mm, and follow the same strat. is fantastic in urban combat, especally if you get a friend in an autoloader
in that finale barring ammo rack or fire, QB was pretty safe, with 900+ HP
but had catastrophic critical occured... OOF!

Type 5 tech tree isn't going to be too much fun these days, although lower tier could be. I had a blast going down the line back when, until I got to the O-HO. When I reached tier 8 WOT released the Defender, kinda killed the "super" heavy line.
they weren't even fun when they came out. Maybe the OI-Exp when it had that OP 300 dmg gun, but the rest were and are pretty tragic. They are only good when they are top tier, otherwise their armor can be penetrated easily by standard rounds even. All those tanks should be put down a tier each, maybe then they would be competitive.
I didn't do Italian tanks yet, however I've got Progetto M46 and my best battle was 6419dmg and 1792 base exp. Not bad, I played 50 games only. :)

As an very average tanker who loves the 430, I couldn't agree more.
I remember playing that tank sotck and it was a real pain, but once fully upgraded it was indeed great, so i understand the bad WR on it.

That map has disappeared from the console version. :-( Many maps disappeared.
seriously why do people even play this game on console? This graphics look worse as when the game was originally released in 2010.
@@robinkhn2547 The 6.0 update was the game at rock bottom. At that point any change is an improvement.
I would say my favorite tier 9 medium is the e50 followed by the kpz 50t and then the standard. The e50 holds my dmg record at tier 9 of almost 9k. Standard b after the nerfs fell from my favorite to 3rd. Still a decent tank doe.
Quackybaby - great result (as always), and I agree it's better to hold shots to keep up the DPM, but you can't deny it is satisfying to unload all shots on an enemy.
It would be good to see how you approach games as a bottom-tier tank and hear how you decide where to place on the maps. Placement and approach matter more (often) than the choice of tank.
This tank without food and bond equipment has gun handling like tier 6 or 7 medium and dpm like a tier 8 med, itrs pretty trash but hey, i dont use food so who am i to stay

Well Im still in tier VII, I have the Proggetto and I like it but is so hard to play, no armor, no camo, but I love that burst damage.
My favourite tier 9 med too (and only)
The rhino is my 2nd favorite tier 10 heavy (T57 heavy is my favorite) not counting any reward or CW tanks I know the DPM is bad but if you can hold from firing the 2nd and 3 you will be fine
This is the only Italian medium I kept besides the t10. I enjoyed quite a lot.
Wonder if the T30 stream sniped the S1. Very lucky blind shot if not given it had relocated.

I love my Standard B. I have enough to get the Progetto 65 (which I'll do one day) but I just enjoy playing it so much I haven't bothered. I do admit though, I've had a bad run of luck lately in it and even though most of the games are good, or at least ok, I'm down to like a 52% win rate in it. But I'm sure I can get it back up.

tank is nice......stock grind not so much, going up against tier ten with the 90mm gun is pretty painful

Mine’s E50. Good gun, decent mobility and not bad armour which can bounce much. The biggest disadvantage for me is its size.
E50 alpha is very low (230), even the premium shells aren't that good.

it’s because tanks don’t need camo over it entirely to have the camo effect, if only the body is covered you get the camo boost

Watching this reminded me of a battle I played a couple of days ago. I even took up many of the same positions and met similar resistance. And then I realized that I wasn't remembering a battle that I played, and in fact, I was just remembering watching this one on the stream. What a dumbass!
The Standard B looks like a Leopard 1. I wonder if the Italians based their tank off the German tank.

My favorite tier 9 is got to be the Obj 430 I play it like a brawler medium I don't give a shit people shoot gold at me I show them fear even at tier 10 I make them fear me (tier 10 sucks because is boring ....)
