The Master! I saw him in Sheffield Arena UK, he shortened the concert due to a throat infection but tickets were sent for another performance a few weeks later. No opera singer can sing this aria like Luciano, his facial expressions and passion are unique. I miss him so very much.Thank you for this video :)

Ok so Pav is always my favorite susperstar tenor, but for some reason I like Matthew Polenzani's version of this a lot more. I worship the big LP, but Mattie boy just KILLS IT for me it on this one. I'm not one of you " Opera aficionados" (yet) so please don't hate on my comments. I'm learning. Music = life = love = I can't live without it.

Instead of honoring luke warm actors and singers, this is a man to adore all of you're life. He had the passion and love for his music that excells all others. Even Domingo could not sing with the expertise of Luciano. I am so glad I bought all of his concerts starting in 1965. does God choose these people to bring us such pleasure? Beth

I meant no offence. I like Pavarotti. i'm only telling you he sounds tinny to me compared to bjoerling, gigli, wunderlich,caruso etc. and when I told my girlfriend that she called him a tin horn. I guess she agreed with me.
