thank you so much,,,the tutorial was really informative.....i suggest you to do a tutorial on what maps to plug into which nodes...as most of the arnold beginners struggle with this idea in node editor.
For use in Arnold material,,yes it’s basically just a render effect which is also need dense geometry..to use in simulation you need to exactly alter the geometry with C4D displacement map material or displacement deformer

Use the arnold parameter tag.
I'll take a look into this, thankyou.
So I should have a subdivided surface to make it Displaseble?
This is great! Thank you and keep up the good work!
is when adding gravity to a ball for example does it interact with displacement ?
is displacement is just for rendering only

cool. where is the links ??
This video looks like Mr.Bean trying to make a render! Good information but improvable tutorial. Anyways thank you sir
how can i animate a tv in cinema 4d using arnold for rendering
Will this work for physical render?
Edit: NVM
the arnold textures won't see in the physical, use the same images in a standard texture of C4D to get that result
no link
Installation, and how to use the, "Poliigon Material Converter", in this video:

Next time use Arnold IPR so you won't render every time.
Thank you for this very good tutorial! +1 like and subscribe ;)
Glad you found it useful :D
yes use this method for the materials, after that, PC freeze.
