I put the passenger side on yesterday. My rubber bushing was totally separated from metal housing. Grinding took a while because I was afraid of hitting the frame. It went well and I did slightly rub it on the top left rivet. I did like you did and bought a can of undercoating and sprayed the area. Hardest part was getting new bushing in place. Jacking up the cross member got very close to transfer case. I struggled getting it in place. I cleaned the frame channel and slightly hammered it inside the crossmember fingers. Noise is gone and truck feels more stable and firm. Even the wife noticed a difference.
Nice video, that what i have yo do today, for 1 month i had a big clunking and i tough it was in my differential, so i change my c clip and wheels bearing just to find out yesterday when i was in a bush trail that my torsion bar mount was completely gone on passenger side, ratchet strap i and came back home lol.
How has these Dorman brackets held up? I have read they are junk and only last 2 years at best. Doing this job along with lower control arm bushings and sway bar links and bushings. Should I buy the ACDelco brackets??
I called Joliet Suspension and asked how much and they said it would cost $290 for labor and $90.00 for the wheel alignment , so I see you guys just replacing just the mounts so why does it need a wheel alignment for ??? Can anyone answer me ???
I see an angle grinder come out, and I lock in on the video fast! "Personal experience..." Funny, but not really, I feel your pain. Dropping a LIKE on your video, Watching and Supporting!

Great video! Just wondering, did you leave your torsion bars and keys all together while you replace the bracket?
It's been awhile but yes I just lowered the whole assembly with a jack.
Cool! Thank you! I have to do mine when the parts get to my house, and your video really helped.
Any idea the name of the bracket with bushing ? Where to order this ?
So glad I saw this video. Much faster than what I was planning on doing. Thank You!
