Such a good sermon until you went too far in trying to lean on the notion of total depravity to prove your point from 1:06:30ish. The efforts of non Christians to be kind or to show love are not purely superficial and hiding their true feelings of hatred all the time. Your audience knows this inherently from their own experience! All human life is made in the image of God, yes we stuff it up, yes every single sin we commit separates us from Him (thus we have all sinned and fallen short) and yes we desperately need Christ and His sacrifice - He is the only way to the Father. But we are not all inherently full of hatred.
The far stronger point you made was that Love can only come from God. So why is love the way to know (John 13:35 & 1 John 2) that you are secure in your relationship with God and that you have eternal life (as per John 17:3)? Because (Colossians 1:16-17 tells us "all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things are held together" and James 1:17 then rightly states "every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow" so love can only come from Him.
But that does not mean that we don't see it in a corrupted form within people who have not yet come to Christ. They too are made in His image. However, in Christ, love is perfected, we are new creations and His love is made complete in us 1 John 4:12.
