As a former college pitcher I geeked out on this so hard listening to all 3 - such a cool thing to hear CC who was my era of pitching leaving the game not ever getting to use this tech, to Bauer who mastered before anyone, and then Sonny Gray who had nasty stuff but used the tech to fine tune it! This opened my eyes to the future of the game & how amazing technology is for pitchers/hitters! 42 minutes flew by because I was so entertained, I’ll be subscribing and watching every single video you guys post! Thanks for the honesty & comedy to go with, love to hear the inside scoops! Baseball needs this so much, to build fans you have to mic up players every game & let them talk like this to let young fans get to know these guys! Sonny Gray is such a great dude & Bauer is the astronaut of baseball lol CC is like the old school type of pitcher I grew up like, we used confidence & our best stuff to match the best hitter / we didn’t have much tech besides just video of last game to see fundamental errors but nothing developing pitches by slow Mo cameras to show the slightest adjustment to my hand could make my curve turn into a nasty slider/slurve! Great work guys thanks again!

I played with Sonny's dad Jesse Gray at Springfield high School in Tennessee We also played together in a city league and softball league. His daddy was a catcher and short stop at times. He was a good athlete. Better athlete than sunny only his dad couldn't throw 90 miles an hour and sunny could. I remember sunny when he was about 6 or 7 years old. Very proud of him He did well. Plus it don't hurt I grew up a Cincinnati Reds fan.

i remember he tried losing weight a few years back and i remember him saying in an interview that his pitching mechanics got all out of wack. he needed the weight haha. so i think he always could lose the extra lbs but he wanted to keep a consistent figure. now that he’s retired i’m sure its something he wanted to do.

mark beard I don’t know, I think their only issue will be the Cardinals, but they’ve gotten worse after the offseason. Plus the Cubs have essentially given up on getting anyone for their team and the Brewers can’t rely on Yelich forever. Pirates have sunk their ship too
