Why does this seem like the "versions of Olivia" portrays the amount of growth she has done in the past and now she's reflecting on her self and decides that no matter how much difficult it is .... I used to be in victim mentality about my bipolar disorder and self harm and self sabotage allowing others to treat me than way, recently i realized this and i felt wmpowered this became my anthem for the year "i gotta love myself and i don't need anyone else."
Yes...this song is for all of the ladies who are broken & have no one who truly loves or supports them. It's been 10 years since I've been dealt with multiple traumas in my life & still working on my healing but thanks to God & my therapist/good friend Robin, I think I'm as close as I can get @ the place I'm in my life right now so all I can do is have a lil patience & be content until whatever God & the devil throws @ me next. I'm always praying for a lil break from Mr. Red Horns so he'll finally get off my back for a few years. ha

To truly learn how to love yourself is to be at peace with how you look. I mean....it's not like this girl got surgery to remove acid burns or something worse. Yes, it's gonna be way harder to love yourself when you see an acid burned face in the mirror but alot of surgeries are just for minor things like cheeks and ....noses...Learn to love who you really are on the inside and the superficial details on the outside won't matter.

Don't change yourself up too much, you start disattaching yourself from you if that makes sense...

If I could go back in time and have a chat with my younger self and a few other people: Take responsibility for yourself. Don't expect others to agree with you. Don't get mad if they disagree. Love yourself, but at the same time, do your best to work on self improvement understanding that we don't have to be perfect. Don't judge others. Respect yourself and respect others. Don't give people what they deserve... give them compassion and mercy. Don't hate your imperfections. Somebody loves that imperfect part of you. My buddy had a scar on the edge of his left eye going down over his cheek. Almost looked like a tear drop had cut its way through his skin. He was embarrased about it. EVERYONE thought it made him even more charming. The thing he hated about himself was adored by others. Care for others as you would like others to care for you, even without a reason. Think of others. Have hope. Show love, most especially to those who oppose you. How can you win someone over by hating them? You may not think you can win them over, but you definitely won't if you show hate and anger towards them. Show them care and love, and no matter what you see on the outside, you may be close to winning them over on the inside. Do you like someone who thinks of themselves or who is always opposing? So, be a better version, without reason. You'll be amazed at how many people you'll win over bt simply showing that you care. Love yourself and love others and have hope. Take whatever you see in yourself as hideous and change it into something adorable. There was this guy who was slightly overweight, was not handsome at all, but so many people adored and loved him and I asked myself why. Because when he looked in the mirror, all he saw was excellent possibilities and a person that truly cared for others. There is somebody out there looking for the exact person you are with your beautiful imperfections and if you go and change those superficial imperfections, how will that person, who is perfect for you, be able to find you?
