Dressing Like John Wick | Tactical Rifleman

  • I wish all the "John Wick" clothing really worked... Our military would be the "Best Dressed" ever!
    However, we all know that is just Hollywood hype.
    That said, I found a company, Bulletproof Everyone, that truly makes some great "civilian" looking concealable armor for those that work (or play) in rough neighborhoods.
    So, I've ran these in a few "High Risk Travel" courses, and have shot the plates.
    I really love the backpacks and the jacket. I forgot I was even wearing the undershirt carrier!
    Of course I had to "Kill" the plates before the video ended, but I hope you enjoy the video as much as we did making it.
    Got a job that requires armor while still looking slick? Check'em out at bulletproofeveryone.com.

    I have a t-shirt/flex plate system. Occasionally in my consultant job, i have to do escorts. I do wear a very lightweight UA tank under it, then a polo or button-up dress shirt over it. I sweat a little in it, but not as bad as standard vests. Plus, it does blend in. Downside, it does not wrap around the sides.

      @@anthonyluisi7096 oh absolutely, but with concealment comes considerable sacrifices that we need to accept and consider in our research. We're limited by technology, it's always a back n forth between weapon systems making a leap, then the counters making their leap frog to defeat. This will never change lol. Maybe consider inventing some type of small size heavy shock absorbing pad one can reasonably wear underneath a garment like this WITHOUT compromising the concealability? This'll likely be inventing some new multi material trial n error over time ... Hmm this is an interesting prospect my friend 😂.

      @Jordan-ql6tm Where you getting that from? Most soft armor is NOT stab or slash proof, and really only as resistant as heavy clothes. It is the rare soft armor rated to stop a knife.

    Interesting when I i bought my original Operator 1.0 shirt in early '23 they offerend 3A+ multi threat armor upgrade which is rated for 5.7 & other high velocity penetrator 9mm+P rounds.

    • @BulletproofEveryone
      @BulletproofEveryone วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      We discontinued the 3A+. People were expecting it to be as concealable as the II or IIIA and it just never will be. It may come back as a two piece system, but that likely won't happen for another couple quarters.

    • @Jordan-ql6tm
      @Jordan-ql6tm วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@BulletproofEveryone that makes perfect sense. I noticed it is better in thicker garments like heavier polo's & obviously sweaters n jackets. Maybe I'll get some of the current slimmer panels for summer wear clothing. Appreciate your comment brotha. I'd like the 3a+ for sweaters or jackets but you're right having it in the Operator might just be smart to own 2 sets for the season's... Makes logical sense to me man lol

I am a land surveyor and can trespass legally, i get guns pulled on me ALOT. Thought this would be great. NOPE. Def not for hard working ppl outside. Thats why cops can wear them.
