TH-cam has somehow gotten worse about music copyright, so there's one review missing from this video. If you want to see my review of The Three Stooges, with inclusion of its 80 year old theme music, it's here: th-cam.com/video/OvHjIkl2Syg/w-d-xo.html
Yay for this compilation. :) Not sure if it helps with the algorithm or not but as a viewer I often go to the channel to see what playlists they posted and you could put both this compilation and the Three Stooges review in an NES playlist together. Either way, just glad to revisit some of your great reviews.
Crazy to see how much you've evolved as a TH-camr over the years. Have always enjoyed your NES reviews, even if you aren't doing them as much these days. You helped me discover some cool games like Felix, Gun-Nac and Nightshade.
This is adorable, I've never seen so many of these earlier videos; I love it. I just watched your best 10 games of 2023, so thanks for all of your entertainment. I probably could have worded this better.😂❤
I love this video pam i love alot of retro games or 2d games i love it when people review my childhood games i played sure they where hard and confusing but they where fun i also loved the snes and game boy games
I've been watching you for years, and I can never quite explain how nice it was when you started using a more accurate picture ratio and also dropped the screen smoothing filters. :)
Fell asleep watching this last night without noticing how long it was. Got woken up at 5 AM by a thunderstorm and a spooked dog (although sometimes I think he checks on me during storms to make sure I’M not spooked). Pretty sure this video still running played some small part in helping him get settled back down. So thanks from me AND him! 🐾
Great compilation. Have to watch in batches, but it's nice to have these in one place. 😊 Though I grew up during the NES era, there are a lot of these that I've never played. Despite it's clunky controls, Star Tropics is still one of my favourite games of all time, which I can still return to. Zoda's Revenge, unfortunately, just never did it for me. It doesn't feel like a true sequel. A pity it's never been revisited. I'd love to see a remaster of the original ... or maybe not. The 8-bit charm is part of the nostalgia.
I love this! It is so nice to see someone give a review that isn't always blindly positive or overtly negative. In my opinion, you hit that awesome balance.
Oh god, all those filters in the early videos. I completely forgot that was a thing back in the 2010s to rid of beautiful pixel graphics... :D Anyway, great collection! :-)
There will be a day when nostalgia won't play apart in collecting these games, I wonder if retro games will loose their value or go up. They are only valuable if somebody wants them. I wonder if I am still playing video games when I am in a old folks home ha ha. Retro Video Games have been always been apart of my life. They have got me through bad times and been a huge part of my childhood. I have fond childhood memories and many happy Christmases.
Excellent collaboration and yeah Limited Run Games and "others" seem to be gatekeeping on music 😑 Felix the Cat's a great game and I miss Hudson, they're Tengai Makyou RPGs are amazing and part IV has the craziest story I've ever seen in a JRPG. Have a great weekend Pam and also Lilly Dog
A memento before you sell them? I bought the Nes mini, haven’t played it once past a quick blast. The games seem a lot more like toys than entertainment nowadays. Faxanadu and the wizards and warriors games were ok. They seemed to have a bit more depth.
Landlording is not actual labor and housing should be a human right 🙏🙌 always love some un-tameable reviews and love that it ends on a high note. Thank you, and please keep up the amazing content
I honestly wouldn't have the patience to play many old games anymore apart from a few like Mario, Punchout, Tetris, Double Dragon, SF, KI, MK on emulator or some arcade games with a arcade stick if I have friends/ fam over. Too many new games to enjoy.
@@Cannotbetamed1 Yes or go through HD remakes, since you are a gamer you should set everything up in Launchbox on pc, get retro controllers is perfect for game night with family and friends.
Of course many, many games have you rescue your girlfriend as a motivation. I love my wife and rescuing her would be all the motivation I would need to embark in any crazy adventure saving her required. You know... love? That thing mommy and daddy felt before they decided to marry and make a you? How can any sane human being hold that concept against a game?
After all this time I just realized you remind of Eliza Dushka. It was always in my mind but I could never figure out what it was that was nagging me. That's what it is.

Pam introduced me to Felix the cat, and I love her for It.
Play Bloodstorm.
This is awesome, I love seeing the progression
Glad to see SNESdrunk is a fan of Pam's. Would love to see a collaboration between you two. 😊
I love you, Mr.Drunk
Collab betwenn Mr. Drunk and Ms. Pam - when? :-)
It is weird to see those early videos.
@armygrunt13 @dariocueto1913 Check out episodes 6 and 99 of the DrunkFriend podcast. And the rest of them.
I’ve enjoyed so many of your retro reviews Pam, especially the NES ones. Thank you 🙏
My pleasure!

That's nice to hear :)
TFW so much time has passed that you're almost as nostalgic for the review video as you are for the video game itself.

Omg Felix the cat is huge nostalgia for me! I was a fan of the cartoon as a kid (in the 80s/90s) so it was cool to be reminded of that immediately.
I’ve enjoyed watching your reviews for years, but the mega collection video is just right for a lazy Sunday. Thank you for this!
Man that star tropics intro music takes me back to being a kid.
The beauty of nostalgia is that it is never ending. Every Generation of kids are creating new memories with new games constantly.
I love putting on these marathons when I'm doing dishes or stuff like that. Thanks for this
I love watching stuff like this. It's so cool to see how much more relaxed people become with the camera over time.
Always absolutely enjoy your videos! And all of NES games on one compilation? Sign me up!
This is the perfect thing to watch while I'm working on my knitting project.
Awesome!

wow five hours of Pam! Like a fine wine you only get better through the years. Eight years really!?! Time flies.
Yeah, it's been a while.
I loved Star Tropics SO MUCH. Thanks for the videos!
You are so welcome!

It does make a big difference.
Great upload, gonna have to try a couple of new games.

I really enjoy these long run videos. Great for background sound when working and I pick up gems from your reviews

Pam looked Stunning back in her NES review days! Especially when she wore glasses.
I love the different looks she has over time especially the naughty school teacher with glasses look 😅 Great video thats alot of games!

Thanks! Welcome to the channel.
Thanks for all your nes reviews! Subscribed 👍
Welcome to the channel!
Thanks for this amazing review video Pam!
Thanks for watching!
Man Felix the cat’s a blast from the past
I would much rather fall asleep to this than Did You Know Gaming’s offerings.
I can see we both had awesome childhoods.
appreciate the compilation, also yes the eyebrows did evolve 😄
haha, they did.
Time to sit back and relax 😅
Are you going to do more retro video game reviews?
Yes
@@Cannotbetamed1 can you review Strider and Comix Zone on Sega Genesis

13:58 Sadly, that's been my experience for a lot of NES games I've revisted from my childhood.
Wow now THATS dedication!
Felix the cat review. So young. So young
Thanks for the compilation!
You're welcome!
thanks Pam!
I always liked your honest opinions of these old NES games. You weren't afraid to say a lot of them sucked (for good reason).
Great job congratssss🎉

2015 Pam: isn't nostalgia great?
2022 Pam: all these characters look like rich assholes. Bring the revolution.
This is like ASMR...the good kind! I think its that microphone 🎤 😅
There are at least 6 different microphones in this video.
The fact that you've been made to censor music whose compositions are in the public domain is pretty mindblowing.
It sucks.
Engagement for the engagement god!
